A/N: My Lovelies! Here's another chapter for you and I sincerely apologize for not posting it sooner. It's been a hectic week for me with the boys and school. Some of you might not know but I'm a mom and I've got little ones and a family that always come first. Which is why I can't post as often as most of you would like. But without a doubt, there will always be a post on the weekends.

Also, since A Thousand Miles From Nowhere (the first book of the Daniels Series and takes place after this one) hit over 100k reads, I'll be posting another chapter either tonight or sometime tomorrow since I'm also writing two more for Every Little Thing.

It's nearing the end of summer vacation and lately I've been spending a lot of my free time with Ford since the girls have been busy doing whatever it is girls do. Even though it's been fun hanging out with my partner in crime, I miss Bex. I miss her more than I probably should.

It's to the point that nearly every second of the day, I'm thinking about her. What she's doing, wearing, feeling...

Fuck, I think someone's W.H.I.P.P.E.D. Seriously...shut the fuck—

"Hey, whatcha doin'?"

A soft laugh pulls me from my thoughts and my eyes spring open from where I was taking a quick nap on the end of my bed to see a familiar face looking down at me upside down. I notice the ruby pendant necklace dangling from around said person's neck as they lean over me and smile.

"What are you doing here?" I cock my head and Bex gives me that beautiful smile of hers as she moves out of my line of sight and motions to lay on my bed next to me.

"I'm here to see you Jerkface," she nudges my arm with her elbow and moves her legs to lay over mine, making herself comfortable on my twin bed.

I silently thank my mom for not upgrading my bed to a full because Bex is practically laying on top of me now since the bed is too small for both of us.

"Really now?" I turn my head towards her and give her a crooked grin.

"Yeah...I've missed you lately and you've been busy with Ford so I haven't got to really see you whenever I'm over," she scrunches her cute little button nose up and chews on the inside of her cheek.

I can't help the warmth inside at the knowledge that she's been missing me too.

Bex rolls over on her side and props her head up on her elbow as she gazes down at me. Her ocean eyes holding mine in a mesmerizing trance.

"We should do something today. Just the two of us," she smiles while wiggling her perfect brows. I hold back a laugh and attempt to hold a stoic expression but fail miserably as I boast out in laughter.

"Oh should we now?" I wiggle my brows back at her and reach my hands out to grab her waist and begin dancing my fingertips along her ribs, tickling her. She erupts in a giggle fit as she motions to roll back over but nearly falls off the bed. I quickly catch her and pull her on top of me.

Wrong move Nate.

As Bex straddles me still giggling and bouncing on top of me, I immediately move my hands from her waist to her hips, holding her in place.
