After Hope had returned to everyone's memories, the school had a different atmosphere. Everyone looked at everything differently, recognizing things that they had forgotten.

I felt horrible for Hope, who had recently been stopping in the school, which led to much attention being on her. She had told me how much she didn't want that to happen, that everything should go back to normal.

Well, that was a very wrong assumption... I've been trying to mediate between Hope and Josie, since they both are so important to me, even if Josie is confusing me.

Landon hasn't made a decision on who he loves and wants to be with, so that just puts Hope and Josie in competitive mode.

Lizzie. Oh, bless her dear soul, has been trying to make them work together for the sake of girl power. That probably wasn't the best option for our specific issue.

Lizzie had me sitting in her room, lecturing me on how important it is that I focus on Josie. "-you realize she loves you, right? Remember? Landon equals distraction?" Lizzie says, pacing in front of me as I sit on her bed.

I rest my chin on my palm, leaning against the headboard. "Lizzie, we can't just rush into a relationship." I say, looking up from the ground at her.

She walks towards me with wide eyes. "Of course you can. This would dilute the problem! Just tell Josie you love her, and then she'll forget about Landon. Then you and Josie are together and Landon and Hope can be together." She clasps her hands together.

"No, Liz. It's not happening." I mumble, getting up. "This is too fast. Even for me. She does have feelings for Landon, even if she still does for me. Moving too fast isn't going to help a thing."

"I know about the kiss." Lizzie smirks triumphantly, sitting on the bed while looking at me with satisfaction.

I cough awkwardly, brushing a strand of hair behind my ear. "What?" I ask innocently, crossing my arms.

"Oh don't pretend like I don't know." Lizzie replies, leaning backward.

"Fine. It happened. But it was while her and Landon were dating! That-that isn't something I need to be a part of." I explain, leaning against a desk.

"You're so difficult." Lizzie groans, rolling her eyes. "But fine, if you won't admit your love for my sister, we're going to have to compromise."

"We?" I ask.

"Yes, I said we." Lizzie smiles. "It's time for us girls to come together as one to forget about the Landon thing and focus on what's important-"

"Malivore..." I mumble. I frown. "You know, ever since the new semester, I've had this pain in my head, but it's just gotten worse and worse. I've just ignored it all this time, but it always would act up when I was by a Malivore monster... or anything Malivore related."

Lizzie frowns. "Well, it's pretty obvious that Malivore doesn't want you near itself. You and Hope are repulsive to it. You both have the power to kill it."

"I wouldn't say that." I mumble. "Whatever." I shake the feeling away and smile at Lizzie's concerned frown. "Let's go get Josie. Hope wanted to meet us at the park."

Lizzie smiles and shoots up from the bed, walking over to interlock our arms. "Alright, off to see the new bestie!"

I roll my eyes. "Sure."

Hope was at the least to say surprised when Josie showed up with Lizzie and I to meet her. And of course, Lizzie sat in between them, trying to convince them to move on from the Landon problem.
