[WP] You're a teacher with the power to see your students hidden potential. One day you come across a student who has the potential to end the world or save the world.

There was a twinkling in his eye, eyes that gave the look of near omniscient knowledge and as a result he never showed emotion.

"Mrs. Cayden I think you have no right to detain me", he smiled

"Umm actually... I think... You've...been a very good student!" Mrs. Cayden stuttered.

"And? What should I have to do with that information?" The boy said, retaining that ever-present smile

Mrs. Cayden knew she had to kill him at any cost. If the outcome of humanity lies in a single individual, she had to kill him to eliminate that chance. Lest humanity become extinct. Or it could reach new heights! But everyone could die, so she had to dispatch off of him quick. That was her reasoning.

"Ummm, can you--see me after school by the woods tomorrow evening?"

"Sure" He still smiled.

A day had passed, the time of Mrs. Cayden giving her 'present' to the boy, Jeremi had come.

Jeremi was an hour late, the sky having transitioned from a dark blue to a pitch black. Eventually, Mrs. Cayden saw him.

She slowly unsheathed the knife from behind her back and waited for him to aproach. Jeremi wore the same innocent looking smile as always; unknowing of the danger that awaited him.

"Here's your gift"

At the word gift, as if a sudden impulse overtook Cayden, she rammed the knife into the boy. There was no scream, o sign of struggle, nothing. The knife was coloured a bright crimson. But he kept smiling. It creeped her out slightly and she even felt a little guilt for killing him. But it was for the good of humanity.

"You thought I was dead didn't you Mrs. Cayden" A voice gurgled

"Wha--??? I thought I killed you!!"

Cayden fell down shocked, confused and scared. A dead body could not come back to life and she knew it.

Calmly pulling out the knife from his stomach, he flung it away and gazed at her passively.

She couldn't comprehend. She couldn't understand. Is this the real life? Is this the fantasy?

"Mrs. Cayden I'll have you know that I know about your ability"

"Myy wha--?" She could only gaze in confusion. How did he come to know?

"Mrs. Cayden, as you would have guessed I do have the power to annihilate humanity... Or gift it."

"I know you do" she whispered silently as if talking to herself.

"Mrs. Cayden, I'll have you know that the reason to that is... I am God."

Dumbfounded. That was the only word that described her thoughts.

"If you are God, why haven't I died yet?" She managed to ask, albeit barely

"Because now is not your time to die Mrs. Cayden."

"If you are, then prove it!" She dared him. She thought this kid was insane and she thought it was that way for sure.

"Very well"

He held up his palm and for a second it just hung there, until a flash of light ensued that was almost blinding. A while after her eyes had adjusted to the light she and all her doubts confirmed. This man was god.

In his hand was a miniature star glowing orange and arcing solar flares. In an instant of crushing his hand, the star disappeared.

"Are your doubts cleared Mrs. Cayden?"

Before she could say anything, he replied "I'm sure they are"

"But why offer mankind choices?"

He took a while, as if searching for the answer to make him look the most intellectual and after a long silence he replied,

"Ever heard of judgement day Mrs. Cayden"
