Chapter Seven: Broken

Coming out of the clearing the shadow faded into view, Cober standing tall and proudly with his mane flowing in the air. Those daunting eyes staring back at his daughter, "Eva... there you are, I have been waiting for you." His long tail lashed behind his frame as his body seemed to be rippling in excitement, the air grew so much colder around him. "Take me... for what I have done!" He yelled at her, taunting her. Lady's first, once he claimed his daughter back there would be no second guessing this was all going to be over soon.

She stood there staring at the male. This would be a hard choice for many, but for her it was simple. She would just take the challenge. Plus if he truly wanted to take her, He would have to just easily made her submit taking her away. He could do nothing crueler than that. She too a defensive stance before growling loudly. "I won't mind taking you out. I won't stop until you are dead. The only way I plan to let you live..." she snarled. The younger feline had age on her side. He was up in the ages and was somewhat slower than her. The femme went to lunge at him. Maybe if she was lucky, she could maage to get through the thick mane he had to his neck in one bite, but she knew that would fail.

Eve continued to shiver scared of Eva, what was wrong with her? "....Eva.... don't do this... please... I am begging you." Her words were falling on deaf ears, why was this happening? When Eva lounged foreword, the femme darted out the way only to swipe a paw across her muzzle. "Eva stop! Please listen to me, its Eve! Stop this now!" She snarled lashing her tail high behind her, fear plaguing her heart as she did not understand why she was acting this way toward her.

You cry alone and then he swears he loves you.
Do you feel like a man when you push her around?


Cober waited excitedly, "Eva... you have no idea... how long I have awaited this day." When she leapt at him he easily dodged her moving aside with his large frame only to slam his massive paw across her muzzle, "Eva, you will have to do better than this child. Step it up!" He snarled at her with his tail lashing behind him, his eyes completely enraged with blood rushing to the surface. Spine arching as he was ready for another attack, his tounge crossing over his dark fangs.

She turned towards him again. She had her reasons for holding back. It was solely due to the fact that he was family still. But she had to put that in her past if she wanted him gone. She ran towards him again, Her strength was far stronger than that for a femme, seeing that she did train her self up like a male. She slashed her claws towards his face, if successful she was trying to aim for the eyes. It would be easier for her to take him down if he could no longer see.

In horror Eva was running at Eve again, what could she do? There was nothing she could do if she couldn't stop her. She bunched herself up expecting Eva to try to tackle her down only to instead feeling claws rake across her face, pain seared through her head while she screamed in the only way she could. Her sight was lost, she couldn't even feel if she had eyes any longer. Why? Why Eva.... her mind thought as she tried lashing about her in a frenzy as she no longer could see her target. She stumbled backwards shaking her head trying to clear the blood though it was to no use, "Eva..... why... what have you done?"

Do you feel better now as she falls to the ground?
Well, I'll tell you my friend, one day this world's gon' to end
as your lies crumble down, a new life she has found.



Cober stood strong however for whatever reason he almost seemed to cower as Eva surged foreword towards him, his expression surprised only to have blood splash from his face as those devastating claws robbed him of his sight. The claws had dug deep into the thin flesh gouging both of his eyes, he let out a shriek that was all but unreal stumbling backwards as he tried to shake it off. "You bitch, look what you have done!"

Sin was indulging herself in this wonderful bloodbath... The malleolus pain, the fear, the heart ache... the betrayal was so sweet that she just could not help herself. The lanterns were swirling around the area as new souls had already joined her collection as of this evening, so many new souls to torture all due to this little lioness... oh how she could not wait to show this girl what really was happening here....

She pulled her paws away. Well she was starting to hate this. She did not want to kill him now. Making him suffer would have been something more pleasant for her. But then again she would not have the enjoyment of seeing him drown in his own blood. Licking her paws she smirked, "You deserve to be blind. Those eyes are what you used to see my mother as an easy target." She chuckled. Oddly enough, the taste of his blood seemed sweet to her. Something she was regretting slowly, but would not stop. She had the urge to taste it again. She moved towards him again. "Father Let's paly Tag... You It!" She snarled as rammed into his side, claws first.

The blood was hot unlike the cold air around them, it tasted fresh...

Eve slinked downwards into a crawl, she couldn't see anything past the blood. "Eva... I... I... what did I do...." She was shaking so terribly as she was cowering against the ground, blood dripping down off the muzzle. What was she talking about with her mother? Eve had never harmed Jinx... "Your.... your father?" That was it! Her fath---- The thoughts went right out the window as she felt the large female ram into her side with her claws first knocking the wind out of her lungs as she fell hard against the ground, she could feel her flesh open due to the wounds. She could barely breathe.... Someone.... Anyone .... please help me...

A pebble in the water makes a ripple effect
every action in this world will bear a consequence


King cober seemed to slink back a bit, "I deserve more than your worth ..." He spat off to the side, his facial expression remained as a constant snarl even though he was blind as a bat.  "Your ... Your Foolish." He spat only for his daughter to ram into his side sending him tumbling down into the grass, her claws sinking into his side as he groaned out in pain letting out a sharp wheeze as she made it hard to breathe.  "You... you won't win... even with my death... it won't protect anyone..." He was having a hard time speaking, everything was coming through so harshly. Miya appeared off the side, "Do it Eva! Protect your mother and Eve from this big bad lion... he will never ever hurt anyone ever again!" She was cheering on the lioness though for whatever reason her image seemed a little blurry not that it mattered. Cober roared trying to lash back at his daughter.
