"Father, is this really gonna work?" Jungkook asked the Devil, and he sighed."My son, do you ever wonder what we have against the angels? We have their precious princess here. Nothing should go wrong with her on our side." He explained.
"I wouldn't be so sure of that, however, you are somehow right, but we never gain her trust." Jungkook scoffed.
The Devil chuckled. "That's where Jennie comes into play."
"What did she do?" Jungkook asked.
"I perhaps just sent her to do things and say things to Lisa, they aren't harmful, more like harmless actually, and she'll be asking you in the meantime, so get yourself ready for a flood of questions." The Devil told him, Jungkook obliged.
"On the other hand, I really have no idea whatsoever on what the angels have planned, I mean, they did surrender their princess." The Devil wonders, and Jungkook smirked.
"Please, in no time, this'll turn into war, can Lisa even fight?" Jungkook shrugged. The Devil chuckles, "don't underestimate the power of an angel, son. We might be strong, but they're fast thinkers."
"And let's not forget the event later on, it's gonna be... interesting." Jungkook's voice fades at the end of his sentence.
-
"Ah, crap." Jennie cursed.
"What's wrong?" Lisa asked out of the blue after hearing Jennie's words.
"Nothing, angel. Just remembered something, something really bad." The brunette dreaded, and Lisa looked out the window, the usual dark clouds, but a light coming by...
"Huh?" Jennie immediately turned her head at Lisa's confused remark, and her eyes widened, she grabbed her hand and pulled her, forcing Lisa to follow her.
"Wait! What's going on?!" Lisa exclaimed, she was really confused on why Jennie was pulling her, and really fast too, but not as fast as how she flies by herself.
They arrived to where all of the other devils were at, Jungkook gave them both a stern look.
"I didn't know these filthy angels would come and actually get what they surrendered, pathetic." Yoongi stood up from his chair and cracked his knuckles, Seokjin raised his eyebrow.
"Mmm, I do fear the deadly outcomes of this battle, but this should be fun." Seokjin replies with enthusiasm.
Lisa had her eyebrows furrowed, she was furious.
"Don't talk about them like that! They're- they're my people!" She yelled, her voice echoing, the poor angel hoped that her mind would hear her, and save her, finally.
"I'm sorry doll, what were you saying? Didn't we repeatedly tell you that these people don't care about you anymore?" Jungkook retorted, and Lisa scoffed.
"As if!"
"I hear them, over here."
"Pests, I really hate it when they try to interfere our little bonding moment." The Devil slammed the table.
"My King, what are we supposed to be doing now?" Jennie asked, and the Devil smirked.
"We don't have to wait, because they're right infront of us." As soon as the Devil said those words, the Demons around turned their heads, fast, wings appeared, eyes darkened, the room was filled with light, bright light. Familiar sight to Lisa and the Demons themselves, each having different thoughts about it.
Chaeyoung looked at her bestfriend, and gave her an apologetic look, Lisa was confused, but she was happy they were here.
"Why is she here? This isn't supposed to be part of the agreement!" Lisa's father yelled at the Devil, and her eyes widened, the glare on Jungkook's eyes were chilling.
"Father? What is the meaning of this?" Lisa froze on her spot.
"Sweetie, isn't it obvious, we've come to save you!" Her mother was lying, she never lied, Lisa's eyes filled with glistening tears.
"Likely story." Lisa's words were sarcastic, but it was obvious that she was hurt, she couldn't just stand there anymore.
Her eyes travelled to Chaeyoung, Chanyeol, and Namjoon by the side, and her expression softened, but as she looked back at Jungkook, she didn't know why, but she had the urge to call out to him, and nothing came out of her mouth.
"You lied to me." Her voice was basically dread, she really didn't like what was happening right now.
The Devil smirked. "I told you, they broke their promises, angel."
"Which is why you shouldn't go back to them." Yoongi continued.
"You're brainwashing her! Leave her alone and hand her to us!" Lisa's father yelled, and she frowned, Jungkook went over to where she was at when her father started to approach her.
"Don't forget, you handed her to us, because you're just thirsty for power." Jennie this time, spoke with confidence, her words hitting them right in the chest effortlessly.
"Really now?! And you're one to talk-"
"Don't fucking talk to her like that." Yoongi spat.
"I think it's best if you leave." Lisa's words shocked them all.
"Oh darling, you must be kidding, come to us," her mother paused, and Lisa looked down and closed her eyes.
'In order for you to get your answers, there's only one person you can go to," Jennie's words repeatedly went around in her mind.
"—Jungkook." She continued, the demon beside her looked at her in confusion.
"I'm staying here, I don't think I'm going back to a realm that, gave me away because they're hungry for power. And they actually believe the Devil would give it to them. How selfish, disgusting, and you only think about yourselves!" She yelled, her voice echoing through the walls.
"Aren't you a clever one, my dear." Her father was the one who spoke, his voice laced with cockiness and not even a single guilt was found in it.
"Maybe it's time I show you, how a real battle works."
