chapter 30 ☾

Lisa dusted off the imaginary dirt out her clothes as she sighed deeply before she looked at the other demons who were dressed.

She had such a great sleep, it had been awhile that she hadn't stayed in his arms.

"You feeling alright?" Taehyung carefully asked the ravenette who just gave him a nod as a response.

"You're not too ready." Lisa pointed out the expression plastered on Taehyung's face as he just chuckles.

"Jennie."

"Huh?"

"Jennie." Taehyung repeated, "how is she when you saw her?"

"You like her, don't you?" Lisa asked him with a raised eyebrow and he just looked away, sighing.

"I always had, so many guys adore Jennie and I don't know how to make a move. It's just so stressful to think that I'm lacking a little too much." Taehyung chuckles bitterly.

Lisa clicked her tongue at his sentence, "it's because you're letting them do it, you're too shy to do something."

"It hasn't always been easy for me and women," Taehyung paused, "or maybe because Jennie is like the only woman I ever had feelings for." He mumbles.

"You're funny." Lisa just said as a reply.

"Take it from me that you need to do something, even on earth, someone is probably chasing her, or she's chasing somebody."

Taehyung grimaced at Lisa's words.

"Is everyone ready? Jungkook is about to be finished with the talk he's having with the devil." Seokjin asked everyone to make sure and they just looked at each other.

No one really said anything, which means that they were all ready.

It's funny.

Just then, Jungkook appeared out of a black smoke and he cleared his throat when he spoke, "ready?"

"You're not even gonna tell us what father said?" Jeongyeon complains as she rolled her eyes at her brother.

"It's business, Jeongyeon." Jungkook sternly said before he looked at Lisa who had her head low.

Then the devil himself suddenly appeared, everyone bowed their heads with respect as Jungkook stepped forward.

Lisa gulped.

"You're all gathered here today... to witness the crowning of Jungkook as the official ruler of the demon realm...." the Devil's voice echoed around the main hall.

Lisa swore she felt her chest tightening once more but she just stood still and didn't show any signs of pain.

The formal words the devil was saying to everyone in the room was too distracting for Lisa to listen to, she couldn't focus and mostly the only thing in her mind right now was trying to process everything that was going to happen.

She closed her eyes.

Suddenly the noise of a blast rang through everyone's ears, Lisa's eyes opened in a second and looked infront.

She swore to her life she wouldn't see something like this ever again, the coronation of demons always took a toll on her. Even though she's only seeing this once.

The devil was basically giving Jungkook his power, which indicates that Jungkook will be most likely even more powerful than ever.

The position he was in looked like he sold his soul to the devil (which he kind of already did) but that wasn't the whole point.
