chapter 28 ☾

"Joy? What are you doing—"

It was until Jimin's sister showed him who she were with and the shock plastered on his face was unbelievable this time.

Chaeyoung could barely stand up on her own as Chanyeol did his best to support her, seemingly very easy as she was lightweight.

Jimin acted so quick before moving over to the angels' place before grabbing Chaeyoung in his arms and welcomed them in.

"Oh my fucking god, what the hell happened to you guys?!" Jimin exclaims as he lays Chaeyoung on the couch he previously sat at.

Chanyeol scratched his head and looked down.

"The king is trying to look for me and Chaeyoung now, we couldn't just go to the demon realm uninvited." Chanyeol explained.

Jimin frowned, "what could you guys possibly have done for this to happen? I thought the rulers adored you both."

"That's what we thought as well, Jimin." Chanyeol sighed, "we knew what was happening and that Lisa was alive. But we never told the king and now he's furious."

And suddenly Chaeyoung coughed weakly, "that moron choked me."

Jennie was sitting on the couch, her eyes widened and Irene stayed frozen in her place. I wonder when we'll ever get peace here on earth. Irene thought.

Joy came closer to Jennie and patted her shoulder, "haven't seen you in awhile, shortie."

"Yeah, haven't seen you in awhile too." Jennie answered with her eyes still focused on Jimin and Chaeyoung.

"Don't tell me you're jealous..?" Joy chuckled.

"She is, it's totally evident on her face." Irene snickered and Jennie groaned before she stood up.

"What did Lisa's father want from you guys?" Jennie questions and Chaeyoung looked at her, dazed.

"He just wanted us to tell where Lisa is, which ofcourse we didn't— wait, where is she?" Chanyeol answers and then panics along the way.

"Don't know, Jimin, wasn't she with you?" Suddenly Jisoo came out from the kitchen with some food and met with new people.

"Ah I see, more visitors, this is just great." Jisoo shook her head and placed the plate on the table, the plate was filled with cookies and Joy didn't hesitate to grab some.

"I've been craving this." Joy yawned, "too much at work, and I've also bumped into these two just by the corner, I mean— streets."

Jennie frowned as if realising something.

"Lisa's safe, I'm sure of it. Just— make yourselves at home, we'll take care of you guys first."

Lisa sat on the chair in the dining area as she fidgets with her hands, a glow emitting from it.

Seokjin was just looking at her, "why do you look so bothered?"

"Something is not right." Lisa's eyes darkened as if realising something.

Lisa's right eye glowed red and she looked up and took a deep breath, and started to stare into space, she knew something was wrong but couldn't process it together.

"My parents still want to find me, huh?"

Seokjin sighed, "yeah, I don't think they're ever going to stop till you make an appearance or something."

"Chaeyoung and Chanyeol." Another voice was heard and Lisa turned around.

"Namjoon?" She said shocked as he just stood there in his place with his hands on his pockets.
