chapter 24 ☾

"Interesting."

Namjoon mumbled loud enough for the demons around him to hum, they stare at the bubble who revealed Lisa and Jimin, or Lily and Jimin, but the name part doesn't matter.

"What is Jennie doing? She can just come back here and bring Lisa with her, what is she staying for—" Yoongi rumbles as Seokjin smacked the back of his head.

"Common sense, Yoongi. She's there for her mom, she didn't expect Lisa to be there." Seokjin sighed as he watched the bubble in a little sadness. Having the turned demon around used to be so fun.

Taehyung presses his lips into a line, "I think we all understood that part, Jin," a followed sigh and he spoke again, "but the thing is, we should've seen this coming."

"I, myself, didn't have that much knowledge on the myths and all the ancient past of my own realm, so I get where you're coming from, that is... if Jungkook actually told you guys about this." Hoseok spoke out of nowhere and all of them looked at him.

Yeah, Jungkook wasn't with them. But he is gonna know anyway despite of him not being there. The man was extremely 'busy' because he was going to replace his father soon.

And he had to train for it, being a ruler wasn't that easy.

"Before we start yelling at my sister, we just need to trust her now, Jennie knows what she's doing but she's just lost and confused and she doesn't know how to take the next step." Bambam enlightens the boys and they all grumbled.

"I do wonder if the other realm is watching over them aswell." Seokjin tsked at Taehyung's thoughts of wonder.

"Lisa's father and mother are still undisciplined, sometimes I can't wrap my head around the fact that they tried to kill their own daughter." Mingyu shrugs as he sips from his coffee, and everyone kept silent.

Namjoon sighed and looked back at the bubble, and saw that the two have peacefully went to sleep, by the time he looked at Lisa's figure he couldn't help but also wonder where she's been.

Or how she found Jimin when she landed on earth.

Hoseok then looked at Mingyu and opened his mouth to talk, he couldn't help but try to tell why. "I worked for Lisa's father for so long, and I used to be one of his best warriors, it was great being well known in the realm, but I guess they forgot about me once you demons captured me."

"Technically I'm not complaining, but whenever he gave orders that relates to his daughter he'd always sound so threatened, it's as if Lisa has something with her that they despise or want to break." Hoseok continues his words.

"Maybe because she was destined to turn into a demon herself." Namjoon then joins the conversation and Hoseok raised an eyebrow at him.

"You're telling me that the king of the Angel realm is scared, apparently scared, most likely scared, of what his daughter carries, and if she rules the demon realm with Jungkook then he won't have advantage?" Hoseok said in the tone of, a wild guess.

"Correct." Was all Namjoon said.

The others looked like they were petrified, "why would he want to kill Lisa instead of just keeping her in their realm? If he agreed to give us her when she's powerful then—"

Seokjin cuts Bambam off quick, "it's because the Devil lied to him about giving one of the most powerful stones here in our world, he was blinded and he gave Lisa to us, and when we didn't keep our word he was furious and tried to murder Lisa instead, so that we wouldn't be more powerful I guess."

"Nice guess off the bat there Seokjin." Namjoon points out. The others still looked puzzled.

"The truth is, the Devil sent Jungkook to capture Lisa and to marry her, he's seen so much from the two and it was evident they were meant for each other, but things took too much turns." Taehyung said while he looked at Namjoon who unfortunately didn't give an answer and just shrugged.

"She carried my child once, I still care about her." Namjoon just said and everyone hummed, he sounded sincere though. That was enough for them to believe him.

"Did you love her?" Yoongi asked and Namjoon chuckled.

"Yeah, I did. But it's all in the past now." Namjoon just gave them a small smile and they nodded. He knew his place whenever it came to Lisa, she just wasn't his anymore.

"Just a small thought, Jin, that Jisoo girl kind of looks like you." Mingyu chuckled as he switched the bubble to where the other girls where at.

"I think we figured that out when Jennie first warned Jungkook about seeing Lisa." Bambam yawned.

Seokjin rolled his eyes, "and so, there are more to come, Jennie is most likely going to meet Jeongyeon and Yugyeom there."

"Ew." Bambam made a weird sound and everyone looked at him.

"What?! I don't like my own siblings." He shrugged and everyone sighed at this.

"Chaeyoungie, you've been watching that circle for about an hour now. They're going to be fine." Chanyeol assures the red head who rested her chin on top of her palms, she looked exhausted.

"I'm not going to leave this now, especially when Lisa's alive and I'm seeing Jimin before me." Chaeyoung sighed, she hasn't seem Jimin in so long and her apparently dead bestfriend was alive.

It was so much to take.

"You don't want the king and queen to see that." Chanyeol sighed as he sat beside the angel who looked so much in distress.

"They're still hungry for power as always, Channie. Find me another reason to when they were still good to us, they seemed so in joy after Lisa's father broke the source." Chaeyoung rolled her eyes as she continued to watch the bubble.

Chanyeol looked away. "I'm aware of that, I know they haven't done anything bad, but if they see Lisa alive then I'm sure they won't hesitate to wait for her and kill her."

"Oh and also, I didn't know Jimin had a sister." Chanyeol continued his sentence and the red head just stared at him.

"His mom is a human, his dad was an angel. He came here with his dad and Joy stayed with their mom." Chaeyoung says as a matter of fact and Chanyeol just nodded.

It was going to be a long night for the both of them.

However, on the other side of the demon palace stood Jungkook who faced his father.

"My son, you know that if you finally turn king, I will retire, right?" The Devil asked him and Jungkook hummed, his hands stayed in his pocket.

"Since Lisa is connected to you, once I transfer most of my magic, she's going to experience pain. Tell me, would it be good or would it be bad?" His father asked him daringly and Jungkook just stayed with an emotionless expression.

"She can't survive and suck up the pain on her own, I have a plan," Jungkook turned around.

"But I'm going to need one of my dearest siblings help."
