Sorry, this took a while to get out. There are a few reasons for that. First of all, this thing is near 9000 words. Second of all, I was kind of busy with holiday preparations, which I hope you guys had better holidays than I did. Seriously, on Christmas Eve, I got insulted and pushed to the ground by a salty coworker. On the same day, my boyfriend got fired for a really stupid reason. Then, on Christmas night, some drunk asshole hit and run my parked car, leaving it totally scrapped. I feel better now, so hopefully, I'll keep giving you guys enjoyable one-shots! You sighed contentedly as you enjoyed the eerily peaceful atmosphere of the Giant Chasm. Your trusty Hydreigon soared through the sky while remaining above your figure, watching out for your safety.

This was a common occurrence for you, every time you came back to your home region of Unova. You loved walking the same roads that you walked all those years ago during the start of your adventure. The wave of nostalgia hit you hard as you ventured back to the areas that you met your partners and visited familiar faces. It had been fifteen years since your adventure began, and what a journey it had been.

You had finished exploring the Alola region. You had befriended many people, captured and trained many new valuable team members and collected the region's famous Z-Crystals. Now, you were back home, for about a week, before you would head to your next destination.

It was nice, being back home. Your family and close friends were always happy to see you in person as your presence was rare. You weren't one to stay put very long. You longed for adventure and discoveries.

You smiled softly as images of your faithful encounter with the Boundary pokémon flashed through your mind. Even though you had been travelling with it for well over a decade, but you still couldn't believe it.

You looked up, seeing your Hydreigon still flying over you. You whistled, making your partner fly down to meet you.

Hydreigon nuzzled your cheek, making you laugh softly. Outside of battle, she wasn't very threatening. An oversized baby, quite frankly.

"I know I say this every time we come back home, but I can't believe how much has happened," you said.

"It feels just like yesterday. We were all just young, 10-year-old children going off on our pokémon journey," you continued.

You chuckled. "Funny how destiny works, huh?"

Hydreigon nodded in agreement.

"Cheren is a teacher and gym leader, Bianca is a pokémon professor, and Hilbert opted for travelling, like me, after being dethroned by Iris..." you said, "...and I'm the Dragon Queen."

The Dragon Queen. That was what you were called. You were seen as the most powerful Dragon-type specialist. You knew you were strong, but it never occurred to you just how popular you had become until you saw your name pop up everywhere on social media. Not to mention how journalists loved interviewing you. You made head turns everywhere you were. You were quite dense to it, at first, but your many travelling partners that you've had over the past few years always pointed out your popularity.
