Chapter 21

-Alexander-

I stood by the wall in the kitchen watching as nathan stormed around biting his nails nervously. I would've laughed at this nervous wreck but we had a psychopath in the living room currently knocked out. Ha i can't believe i stabbed her, must've been pent up aggression whatever she deserved it. "Nathan will you calm down. Damien is sleeping." Tristan said. "Calm down! We have a fucking insane chick in my house! There is no calming down!" Nathan yelled. Jeez the guy was breaking down i mean this isn't our everyday stuff but still. "Alex." Tristan called to me. "Yeah?" "Go keep an eye on her will you?" "Yeah sure." I walked out the kitchen and into the living room where damien was sitting facing Valerie. I still haven't talked to damien and he didn't seem to want to talk to me either. "Hey damien. What are you doing here, i thought you were sleep." "You ever think about what she went through to be so crazy?" He disregarded my question entirely and kept his gaze fixed on valerie's unconscious form. "She's crazy what does it matter?" "It matters a lot." He looked at me briefly but i don't think he could actually see me. His mind was somewhere else. Did his hair grow longer? He sighed and got up. "Where are you going?" "Out for a smoke." He left the house before i could question him. Damien doesn't smoke..does he? Maybe being around val triggered something in him besides all this stress. Being around val triggered something in all of us.

  How can anyone stay calm in this type of predicament? There is a crazy lady in the living room and tristan is trying to keep me calm. Jacob has been oddly quiet probably wrapped in his own thoughts. "What the hell are we g going to do? This is kidnapping." "Nathan pull it together. Have a drink or something." Tristan was beginning to piss me off but it wasn't his fault. I just don't work well under pressure. I ran a nervous hand through my hair pacing back and forth across the floor. Suddenly arms wrapped around my waist freezing me in place. "Breathe nate. Just breathe." His breath brushed against my cheek and it made me shiver as he whispered softly in my ear. A feeling of calmness overtook me. He began rubbing my arms up and down and i started to gain composure. "We'll figure this out but you need to calm down. Okay?" "Yeah. Fine" jacob kissed the top of my head and stepped back from me. I began to immediately miss his touch. "So what are we going to do?" "We're going to talk to her." Tristan responded. We all looked at each other and walked into the living room, turned the corner and the display we saw had our jaws dropping to the floor. Alexander and Valerie were lip locked in a heated kiss.
