"Hey, Babe.." i don't even realize my Mom is standing at the door.
"Eddie Bear, you caught that disease." She sneers.
"It's not a disease, Mom! I love Richie and he loves me!" I scream.
"Then, it's either me or him." She tells me. I look over at Richie.
"Do what's best for you, Baby. Whatever happens, I'll still love you." Richie whispers. Years of abusing.
"I'm going with Richie." I tell my Mom. She storms out, tears come to my eyes. I run to Richie, he carries me upstairs.
"You could've gone with her, Baby."
"It's just years of her abusing me. I can't take it!" I yell. Richie just starts to sing. It calms me weirdly.
"Where am I going to live when we go back to Derry?" I ask.
"Baby, you're going to stay with me. As long as you're okay with that." Richie tells me.
"Unless my Dad comes back. I don't think he is though." I whisper.
"You got me, it's okay. You don't need them." Richie tells me. Bev comes upstairs.
"You okay, Eddie? You know, you can live with me." Bev states.
"I'm okay. I'm going to stay with Richie though." I tell her. All of a sudden, there's a big boom.
Im done with school.
