*Eddie Kaspbrak*

"Eddie-Bear!" My Mom yells. He engulfs me in her over-bearing hug. I clutch the necklace that Richie gave me in my hand.

"Hey, Momma. Can I unpack first?" I ask. She agrees I run upstairs with my clothes. My Mom cooks me my favorite dinner, we watch movies, and eat desserts.

"Eddie, how much do you love Richie?" My Mom asks. I turn towards her.

"No matter his insecurities, his imperfections, I love him. He's my best friend, my boyfriend, and probably the best thing that has ever happened to me," I explain.

"I'm just happy you're happy," My Mom whispers. All of a sudden, there's a knock on the door.

"I'll get it," I say. I open the door, my boyfriend is standing there.

"Richie, what happened?" I exclaim. Richie just falls into my arms. I lead him inside and upstairs. I run back downstairs.

"Momma, I'm so sorry. It's just," I start.

"No, it's okay. He really needs you right now," My Mom whispers.

I run back upstairs and I knock on the door.

"Eddie?" Richie whines.
"Yeah, it's me, Baby. Can I come in?" I ask. I walk in, Richie is just clutching the polaroid of Richie and me on the roof of Stan's cabin.

"Richie, Babe, tell me what happened," I insist.

"My Mom is getting together with my real Dad, Mike is moving in with me and his Mom and my Dad are moving back to Indiana. So much is changing, I mean, I'm going to have a brother now. Just, too much is changing, I needed to get away from everything. So I came here. Can I spend the night here?" Richie explains. I wipe his tears, I kiss him lightly.

*November 23rd, 1994,*

"Eddie, come down here!" My Mom yells. I run downstairs.

"Yes, Momma?" I question.

"Do you want to ask the Tozier's to come over for Thanksgiving?" She responds.

"Mike is going to Will's and Richie told me his Mom and Dad are going to a bar. Can Richie just come?"

My Mom nods. Even after Mike moved in and Maggie got back with Ted after 16 years, she didn't become a better Mom. She became worse. I call Richie to tell him the news, I can hear him practically scream over the phone. Tomorrow is going to be an interesting day.
