I skipped a few days whoops

Domestic/Family Life

Eliza and Alex sat on the couch together, watching a romantic movie. Alex wouldn't have come, but Eliza dragged him so, he figured he may as well. So here he was, being forced to watch chick flicks all night.

As the two people on screen leaned in for a kiss, they were startled by a small voice. "This show sucks."

Eliza jumped, but relaxed when she realized it was just her son, Alexander Jr. "And what are you doing up this late?" Alexander asked playfully, picking AJ up and planting a kiss on his small nose.

"I had a bad dream. So I came here and watched the movie. It's really boring," The boy explained, placing himself between his parents and covering himself with the blanket they shared.

Alexander picked his son up and started carrying him back to bed, despite the protests from the 6 year old boy. AJ pouted and tried to jump out of his arms when Alexander set him down on the bed.

A groggy Philip, who was forced to share the room with his younger brother, sat up and rubbed his eyes. "What's going on?" He asked tiredly.

"I'm just getting AJ to bed. Go back to sleep," Alexander whispered to Philip softly. Not softly enough though, they realized, as they heard the pattering of footsteps on the floor and an 8 year old Angelica appeared in the doorway. "What are we doing?" She asked, turning on the lights which earned a groan from Philip.

"Now it's a party!" AJ shouted, jumping off his bed and waving his arms around which caused Alexander to chuckle.

"Who's having a party? Alex, are we ever going to finish that movie?" Eliza asked, walking into the room and sliding past her daughter to join her husband beside AJ's bed.

"A movie? I wanna watch a movie!" Philip exclaimed, suddenly wide awake.

"No you don't. It's so boring," AJ dismissed, holding his arms still momentarily before dropping them back down to his sides.

"Well, I would rather watch a movie than sleep," Angelica interjected, running to the living room. Alexander sighed and AJ nodded enthusiastically, following his older sister to the TV. Philip rolled his eyes playfully and chased after his younger siblings.

"Welp. There goes our alone time," Alexander muttered, walking past Eliza and following his children.
