The Ball Kidnapping

It was a nice day and the gang have decided to take a boat to a island outside of kalos called rosiehill island and it's famous for a hill full of wild roses, it also has a lovely castle there and every 2 years it holds a special event where they get to chose the princess of the ball, pokemon contests for the most handsomest pokemon, the most cutest pokemon, the prettiest pokemon, the coolest pokemon, the best contest move, the most adorable pokemon and then all the 1st places winners are up for the pokemon of the ball contest and when a pokemon wins that they get to have a berry feast.
as they were getting to rosiehill island, the gang were on the side of the boat looking out to sea with ash with pikachu at the front, then serena and togepi behind, clemont next to her and little bonnie by him with dedenne on her head
"aww, this is going to be so awesome" bonnie says excited as she usually is
"it sure is, i think this is the second ball we've been to" clemont says remembering back to the other ball
"i'm just happy we had the chance to go to this event as it happens every 2 years" serena says with a smile on her face
"so are any of you going to enter your pokemon in any of the contests, i was thinking to enter pikachu in the most coolest pokémon" ash says as he rubs pikachu on the head
"i was thinking to enter pip in the most cutest pokemon" serena says as she holds out pip's pokeball "and sylveon in the most prettiest" she says swapping pip's pokeball with sylveon's
"ash, i was thinking you could enter pikachu in the most handsomest pokemon and enter greninja in the most coolest" clemont says and ash slowly smiles at the idea
"that's a great idea clemont" ash says happily and the other giggle
"toge! toge!" 'yay! yay!' togepi says happily in serena's arms and serena pets her head
"hey! why don't you enter togepi in the most adorable pokemon" bonnie suggests as she points to the egg pokemon
"togepi is adorable anyway" serena says and ash nods "but what do you think togepi?" she says as she holds up togepi in front of her
"to togepree toge!" 'i love that idea!' togepi says happily as she waves her arms about
"sounds like togepi is onboard with it" ash says happily and the sibling pair smile with bonnie giggling
"dedenne!" 'i do too!' dedenne says on bonnies head to togepi which makes the egg pokemon happy
"preparing to dock at rosiehill island!" a voice shouts from the speakers and everyone gets excited
a few mintues later and the boat was docked on rosiehill island, the gang get off and they were amazed by the place, there was a path going up to the mansion where the event is taking place and all over the place were red, white, pink, yellow, purple and orange roses all over the hills looking pretty as ever
"wow! so pretty!" serena says amazed
"yeah and there are so many colours too!" bonnie says amazed as serena
"pika!" 'wow!' pikachu says amazed with his eyes sparkling
"toge!" 'wow!' togepi says amazed as well with her eyes sparkling
they then start walking to the castle with a group of people that were on the boat with them and when they get to the mansion the gang was lead to a dressing room so they can get ready for the event while the other guests were either choosing a room or looking around
"let's dress up our pokemon first then chose our outfits" serena says and the others agree
"ok everyone, come on out!" ash says and he releases all his pokémon
"you too" serena says and she takes out all her pokémon
"gets get this party started" clemont says and let's all his pokemon out
all the pokemon then line up after the blue glow from the pokeballs fade away and they all waited to see what's up
"ok guys, let's get you all ready for this event" ash announces and the pokemon cheer
they then all get to work and after sometime they were all dressed up, with ash and he had given greninja in a black bow tie, noivern also had a black bow tie, goodra had a blue bow tie on which he loved, talonflame had a yellow bow tie on, hawlucha had a green bow tie on and pikachu was wearing a blue bow tie.
with serena and she had given delphox a pink bow which the fox pokémon had around her neck and she also had a skirt on, sylveon had a tiara on her head, eye liner on her eyes to give her eye lashes and a pretty posh pink and white dress, pancham has a gray bow tie and his sunglasses were his performance glasses and lastly pip had a red bow on her ear and she was wearing a sparkly pink dress 
with clemont and he had given chespin a orange bow tie which he adored, luxray had a yellow bow tie on which he didn't mind and bullleby had a white bow tie on which he shrugged off, also bonnie had given dedenne a purple bow tie and the antenna pokemon loved it.
the last pokemon who needed to get dressed was togepi who was sitting on the windowsill and then serena goes to her with items in her hand
"ok togepi, which one do you want?" serena asked togepi as she holds out a mirror "a bow?" she says as she puts a red bow on one of togepi's spikes "or a tiara?" she says as she replaces the bow with a small tiara and puts it on togepi's head
"to?...pree! pree!" 'umm?...both! both!' togepi says thinking then says happily as she waves her arms
"ok!" serena says and she gets to work
after a minutes togepi was done and she had a pink tiara on her head and a red ribbon around her egg with the bow near her right arm
"what do you think?" serena says as she shows togepi the mirror
"toge! toge!" 'love it! love it!' togepi says happily and it makes serena smile "toge to-to!" 'thanks mama!' she adds and serena picks her up
"your welcome, baby girl" serena mumbles the she nuzzles togepi which makes the egg pokemon laugh
serena puts togepi down back on the windowsill and then the other join back up with serena again
"wow togepi! you look adorable" ash says when he sees togepi
"yeah, i bet she's going to win that contest for sure" bonnie says happily as ash picks up togepi
"pr-pr!" 'papa!' togepi says happily as ash nuzzles her then he turns to serena
"i guess it's our turn to get dressed now" ash says with a smile and the others agree
"ok, let's go!" clemont says and they all split up to different hangers
ash was the last to go as he had to put togepi down and he petted her before going off to the clothes, after what felt like half an hour the 4 kids reappear and they all looked amazing, ash had a blue suit and trousers on with a white buttoned shirt underneath, black shoes and a light blue bow tie, serena had a lovely pink and red dress on with red flower hair accessory and red shoes, clemont had a plain black suit on with a black bow tie and shoes and lastly bonnie had a golden yellow and white dress on with yellow shoes and a golden bag for dedenne to go in.
"you all look amazing!" bonnie says happily
"yeah, you all look amazing, come on bonnie, let's show the others" clemont says and he goes over to his pokémon with bonnie to show off his outfit
ash then goes over to serena when clemont and bonnie were gone and he gives serena a kiss
"you look beautiful" ash says with love in his voice and serena blushes
"thanks ash, you look handsome" serena replies and she leans her forehead onto his "so umm...i was wondering if you'll...you know...be my dance partner?" she says in a teasing tone
"i will love to" ash says lovenly and he kisses serena again making her giggle
togepi was sitting on the windowsill being her happy self as she watches her parents cuddle but what she didn't notice is that there was a pokemon hiding at the side of the window, that pokemon was moloetta and she was curious about the room, she then looks at serena and smiles before grabbing something from her hair, the item she had was a necklace that had a ruby heart cased in gold with a gold chain, the melody pokemon then puts the necklace next to togepi then disappear again with togepi hearing something, the egg pokemon then looks around then she the necklace
"to-to! toge!" 'mama! look!' togepi says as she hold the necklace by the ruby heart
serena and ash look over at their baby and serena was suprised on what togepi had
"togepi, where did you get this?" serena asked as she looks at the necklace after taking it
"toge to" 'right there' togepi replies and points to where it was which was next to her
"it's beautiful" serena says as she holds it in front of her
"do you want me to put it on for you?" ash asked and serena nods
ash then helps her put it on and when it was around her neck she turns to ash and smiles
"how do i look?" serena asked and ash smiles
"you look amazing" ash says and he kisses serena on the cheek causing her to blush
"hey guys! you ready to go to the ball room?" bonnie says as she runs up with half of the pokémon following her
"sure! let's go!" ash says and everyone goes off to the ball room
a few minutes later the knowing trio of team rocket came into the room and they look around
"looks like this is the changing room?" meowth says and glee comes to jessie's face
"yes! now i can change so i can make myself beautiful for this ball!" jessie says excited and she goes off into the dresses
james and meowth sigh then they go off to put their outfits on which was only a few seconds, they then reappear and jessie had a long hot pink dress on with yellow and white mixed in, james had a dark blue suit on with black bow tie and meowth had a yellow bow tie on around his neck
"haha! you look good, jimmy" meowth says happily and james smiles
"thanks meowth" james says with a little blush on his face
"well i do divine!" jessie says and she twirls before giggling "come on boys, let's get to the ballroom" she adds before disappearing and the boys were left behind
james and meowth sigh before slowly following jessie who was happily skipping along , back with the gang with their pokemon and they had made it to the ballroom, they were all amazed on how big, gold and royal it looked
"this place is amazing" bonnie says as she spins around
"dedenne!" 'i agree!' dedenne says from the bag bonnie had on
"oh hello!" a lady says as she walks up to the kids
the lady wore a gold and white dress, had long blonde hair, big green eyes and she had a cleffa on her shoulder
"you must be ash, serena, bonnie and clemont" she says happily "i'm poppy and i'm the one running this event this year" she says introducing herself as poppy
"cleffa!" 'hi!' cleffa says happily
"miss poppy? how do you know us?" bonnie asked curiously and poppy smiles
"i've heard about you lot from professor sycamore and diantha as they are my childhood friends" she adds and the kids get happy
"wow really?!" ash says happily
"pika!" 'wow!' pikachu says from ash's shoulder
"toge! toge!" 'yay! yay!' togepi says happily in serena's arms making the girl smile
"yeah and i'm happy you're here, i can show you around if you like as the event doesn't start in a hour" poppy says and the kids agree
poppy with cleffa then showed the kids and their pokémon around and poppy was happy to make the kids happy
"as you can tell, this is the ballroom" poppy says happily "and over here, this is where all the pokemon will be so they can be part of the event and not be in their pokeballs" she says and she opens a door to the left of the ballroom
the room was slightly smaller then the ballroom and it looked more of a dance hall but there was many pokemon related things all about like toys, pokemon sized instruments, a berry snack bar and even space so the pokemon could dance if they wanted to like in the big hall
"pikachu!" 'amazing!' pikachu says and jumps off ash's shoulder
togepi and pip follows pikachu into the room and soon the other pokemon join in too even cleffa
"looks like your pokemon like it in here" poppy says before giggling on how cute cleffa was being with togepi
the star shaped pokemon and the egg pokemon were happily playing chase with each other with cleffa stopping now and again to make togepi catch up
"they sure do" ash says happily as he sees pikachu and pip playing with little figurines of pokemon
"chespin! pancham! don't eat yet!" clemont says as he spots the 2 pokemon trying to eat the berries at the snack bar
the 2 pokemon jump when they get caught and they put the berries back before looking at clemont apologeticly
"chespin..." 'i'm sorry...' chespin says sadly
"pancham..." 'me too...' pancham says also sadly and clemont smiles
"it's okay just wait then you can have the berries, just remember to share" clemont says and the 2 pokemon look up at clemont
they then nod and they go off to play with the little interments that dedenne and bunnelby were playing with
"we best carry on with the tour" poppy says and she goes off with bonnie and clemont not far behind
"pikachu and pip, look after togepi, ok?" serena says and the 2 mouse pokemon nod with a "pi!" 'ok!'
ash and serena then go off and they carry on with their tour of the mansion with the pokemon enjoying themselves in the mini ballroom, a little while later and the kids with poppy had made it back to the ballroom again after a big tour of the mansion
"hey! are you kids going to sigh up to the pokemon contest and the princess of the ball contest?" poppy asked and the kids nod happily "then follow me, the signing should be starting by now as we have 5 minutes till the ball begins" she says and the kids follow her
they then go to the signing room where a lot of trainers and pokemon were to sign up, it didn't take long for the kids to wait thanks to poppy and they sign in what they needed to sigh, serena and bonnie was entered in the princess of the ball contest, dedenne was entered in the most cutest pokemon contest, pikachu was entered in the most handsomest pokemon contest, pip was entered in the most prettiest pokemon contest, greninja was entered in coolest pokemon contest and lastly togepi was entered in the most adorable pokemon contest.
after that was done the event was just beginning and the gang got to the ballroom just in time
"hello and welcome to the rosiehill island event!" the voice of poppy says as it rang around the ball room "i'm poppy winterflower and i'm the host of this event" she says and the crowd cheer "and to start off this special event, we'll start with the princess of the ball contest so all the ladies that signed up come to the front" she says and both serena and bonnie go over
"good luck girls, we'll be cheering for you" clemont says before the 2 girls go off
"good luck serena and if you don't win, just know you win my heart every time" ash whispers to serena before she goes and serena smiles
"thanks ash" serena says and she picks him on the cheek before going off with bonnie
serena and bonnie then stood with all of the other girls/woman that had entered the contest which also included jessie who was going under the name 'jessianna', there were a total of 50 ladies and all the ladies were given numbers with serena being number 20, bonnie was number 21 and jessie was number 28.
"ok so my chosen 3 judges which are my best friend nurse joy, my mother hazel and family friend mrs.sunfleur with me too will judge the girls, then one judge with chose one for the top 4 then we group together to choose the 4th, 3rd, 2nd and 1st" poppy explains "and the 1st place will win a princess of the ball tiara and ribbon, sit in the princess thrown and also get to choose their special someone to be the prince of the ball" she finishes and the crowd cheers "ok judges, let's go" she says happily and the judges get to work as they look over all the girls
both bonnie and serena were feeling nervous but serena put her mind at ease thinking on her favorite things which was ash, togepi, pip and her othe pokemon, bonnie on the other hand was looking at the other ladies and seeing which one would be a good chose for clemont, after some looking and talking the 4 judges have chosen
"ok sorry for making you all wait but we have chosen out picks, let's start off with nurse joy" poppy says and nurse joy smiles
"well for my pick, i choose number 37" nurse joy says and the crowd cheer
number 37 was a girl in a silver dress with purple medium hair, big brown eyes and she looked like one of those girls that you see in a girls clothes magazine
"good chose, next is my mother hazel" poppy says and she looks at her mother
"all the girls were lovely but i have to go with number 21" hazel says and the crowd cheer mainly clemont as it was bonnie
"yes!" bonnie says and she steps forward to stand by number 37
"lovely chose mother, ok next is mrs.sunfleur" poppy says and she looks at the older lady of the judges
"well...they all look really lovely in the dress but my chose is number 28" mrs.sunfleur says and james loudly cheered as it was jessie
"thank you so much!" jessie says as she stands by bonnie who looks at jessie as she seen her before
"and lastly for my pick, i'm choose number 20" poppy says and all the crowd cheer with ash being the loudest as it was serena
"i'm so happy!" serena says and she stand by jessie
"ok, it's now time for the final round so hold tight while me and the judges talk it over" poppy says and the judges start talking as the other girls go back into the crowd
jessie, bonnie, serena and number 37 were standing on the stair near the thrown as they waited for the verdict and all of them were getting excited, after waiting for a bit the judges then finally pulled away from the group talk
"ok, we have chosen!" poppy says as she holds up a card "and in 4th place is...number 28!" she announces and jessie was both suprised and annoyed
"here you are!" mrs.sunfleur says pinning a blue 4th place ribbon on jessie
'grr! why could i never get first!' jessie thought annoyed but she kept a smile on her face while waving
"in 3rd place is...number 37!" poppy says and poppy's mother hazel pins a green 3rd place ribbon on number 37
"thank you" number 37 says as she waves to the cheering crowd
"ok the runner up and 2nd place goes to...number 21!" poppy says and bonnie was pleased as she got a yellow 2nd place ribbon
"thank you so much! i'm so happy!" bonnie says after the ribbon was pinned on her dress by nurse joy
"and that means in 1st place is number 20!" poppy says and she goes over to serena "well done serena!" she says as she pins a red 1st place ribbon on serena's dress
"thank you!" serena says happily and waves to the crowd as they all loudly cheer for her especially ash who smiled as big as he could smile
"everyone give it up for the princess of the ball, number 20! miss.serena!" poppy says and the crowd cheer
then mrs.sunfleur then places a gold tiara on serena's head and the tiara has a heart shape in the middle with a rose pendent in the middle of the heart, there were also round ruby gems coming away from the middle of the tiara
"ok, miss. serena, come sit here" poppy's mother says and serena sits down in the thrown as the crowd were still cheering
"ok before we start the ball, i want to say that the pokemon constest starts in 20 mintues so if you have entered, go to the mini hall in 20 minture" poppy says as a reminder "now that's over, let the ball begin!" she shouts and the crowd cheer as the music starts playing
the crowd then went and did their own thing and clemont with ash head to the front, clemont went to bonnie and gave her a big hug
"well done, bonnie" clemont says happily and bonnie blushes a little
"thanks big brother!" bonnie says happily as she smiles "i'm so glad i won 2nd, i never won anything before, i wonder what dad would say" she says getting more and more excited
"ok bonnie calm down, i'm sure dad would be so proud of you" clemont says happily and he smiles at bonnie who smiles back
meanwhile ash went over to serena and he was super happy
"well done serena, i'm so happy for you" ash says happily and serena smiles and blushes
"thank you ash, i...just so speechless that i won" serena says not sure what to say
"hey serena! is this your prince of the ball?" poppy says going up to ash and serena with a cheeky grin on her face
"umm...yes" serena says blushing up a little and ash looked at her lovenly
poppy smiles then she politely suggested to ash to take a seat next to serena, he does just that after looking a bit confused then poppy places a crown on ash's head, the crown was a little bigger to serena's tiara but not that big and it had sapphire blue gems going around the crown
"the prince of the ball is here!" poppy announces and the crowd cheers before going back to business
ash looked around and he was happy he gets to be by serena, he then looks at her and she looks at him both of them having happiness, love and joy inside them, ash then gets off from his chair and holds out his hand to serena
"can i have this dance, princess of the ball?" ash says politely with love in his voice and serena giggles
"you sure can, prince of the ball" serena replies as she places her hand on ash's
ash then pulls serena up, they go to the dance floor and then they start slow dancing happily with both ash and serena giggling now and again, meanwhile in the mini ballroom and all the pokemon were happily doing their own thing, the gang's pokemon were playing happily and there were also some other trainers pokemon in there too which included a butterfree, meowth (team rocket's) a growlithe, a furret, a ampharos, a teddiursa, a torchic, a mudkip, a skitty, a aron, a altaria, a spheal, a shinx, a glameow, a riolu, a lillipup, a archen, a minccino, a joltik, a volcarona, a litleo, a skiddo, a espurr, a swirlix, a tyrunt, a amaura, a malamar and a gourgeist.
it also turns out that there was a outside part to the mini ballroom, outside were some of the other gang's pokemon like delphox and greninja but some other pokémon too which includes a charizard, a fearow, a ninetales, a wigglytuff, a diglett, a rapidash, a gengar, a lapras, a aerodactyl, a dragonite, a typhlosion, a steelix, a skarmory, a houndoom, a tyranitar, a camerupt, a milotic, a absol, a lucario, a drapion, a electivire, a magmotar, a mamoswine, a gallade, a zebstrika, a chandelure, a beartic, a braviary, a gogoat, both male and female meowstic and a trevenant.
all the pokemon were happy and at the same time were waiting for the pokemon contest to start so they can see who won out of all the categories, back inside and all the guests were having a good time, bonnie was dancing with clemont even though he was taller then her and he was having a bit of a difficult time, poppy and her mother were watching from a upstairs balcony smiling, mrs.sunfleur was also with poppy and her mother watching the ball go down, nurse joy were keeping an eye on the pokemon, jessie and james were dancing together with james trying to calm jessie down from coming 4th and lastly ash and serena were dancing with giggles, kissing and snuggling each other now and again
"this is the best ball i ever been to" serena says happily and ash nods
"yeah...this whole event is a night to remember" ash says and he smiles at serena who smiles back "i love you serena" he says with love
"i love you too ash" serena says and they have a quick kiss
meanwhile in the night on the roof outside of the ballroom near a arched window, 2 spies in spy outfits was looking though night binoculars in the ball area and they had a honchkrow and a mismagius by their sides
"i see it!" one of them says in a woman's voice and has the mismagius on her left
"where is it?" the one who had a man's voice says with the honchkrow on his right
"it's on the girl with the short honey blonde hair, the red and pink dress on and dancing with the boy with black hair and blue suit" the lady says and the man sees who's she talking about
"i got them!" the man says "and there is what we came for, the ruby rose petal necklace" he says as he looks at the necklace around serena's neck
"that thing can do wonders if we can take it" the lady says with a evil smug
"we need to get it as soon as possible or the boss will be mad" the man says and the lady nods
"ok, let's get to work, ready mismagius?" the lady says and asks the magical pokemon
"magius!" 'always!' mismagius says with a nod and the lady gives a thumbs up to the man
"let's go" the man says and they jump off spy style with honchkrow flying off and mismagius flowing the big boss pokemon
back inside and it was finally time for the pokemon comtest, the first contest was the most handsomest pokémon which pikachu
was entered in and meowth was entered in too thanks to james
"good luck buddy!" ash says as he sees pikachu walk up on the stage from where he was sitting
"pika!" 'thanks!' pikachu says turning to ash then back to the crowd again
there were 30 pokemon in the most handsomest pokemon contest and every other contest came up to 30 pokemon to what poppy told ash and serena, all the pokemon had numbers too like what bonnie and serena had and pikachu was number 23 and meowth was number 25.
"ok for the pokemon contest, you lot get to choose your favorite from the list and then the princess or prince will announce the winner, so you have 2 mintues to look at all the pokemon then all of you tick your favorite in this card and then place them in this box" poppy explains and everyone was given a card "it will come down to a 3rd, 2nd and 1st and the winner of 3rd will get a ribbon and a bag of berries, winner of 2nd will get a ribbon and a gift card to the pokemon store in lumiose city and 1st place will get a ribbon, a crown/tiara and a present from me" she explains "ok...go!" she says and the crowd went to work
the crowd of people then get to work by looking at all the pokemon, the looking made pikachu a bit nervous as some of the people were just staring but he know ash was nearby and he could see pip watching from the mini ball room so he felt calm, after a few mintues of gossip and everyone choosing a pokemon, nurse joy and poppy went though the all the card choses and after a bit they had a results
"ok everyone! we have the results for most handsomest pokemon" poppy says holding up a card "ash, would you do the honours?" she asked ash who happily takes it
"ok, in 3rd place is...number 7!" ash says happily and number 7 was a houndoom
poppy then goes over and places a 3rd place green ribbon on houndoom and hands his owner a bag of berries
"in 2nd place is...number 29!" ash says and number 29 was a tyrunt
nurse joy puts the 2nd place yellow ribbon on the tyrunt and hands his owner a gift card
"and in 1st place...number 23!" ash says happily and pikachu jumps for joy
pikachu then get put a red 1st place ribbon on his bow tie by serena who strokes his head after putting it on and she places a little crown on his head
"well done pikachu, i bet pip is proud" serena says to pikachu and it makes pikachu blush
serena then hands pikachu his present from poppy then he goes back to the mini ballroom to meet up with pip
"ok the next contest is the most prettiest pokemon so everyone get ready" poppy says and all the pokemon came out
one of those pokemon was pip as serena signed her up for it and another pokemon that was in it was jessie's gourgeist, they all line up and pip got number 4 and gourgeist got number 13, they then stand there as the crowd judge all 30 pokémon, after a while the results came in and it was serena's turn to read
"ok in 3rd is...number 7!" serena says and the pokemon in number 7 was a skitty
skitty then got her green 3rd place ribbon given by nurse joy and her owner got the bag of berries
"in 2nd place is...number 11" serena says and the pokemon in number 11 was a milotic
milotic got her yellow 2nd place ribbon given by poppy and her owner gets the gift card
"and in 1st place is...number 4!" serena says and pip jumps at her number being called then she blushes up
ash then goes over to pip and places a red 1st place ribbon on her
"good job pip" ash says and scratches pip under her left cheek which she loved
ash then puts a tiny tiara on her and hands her her present from poppy, pip then goes and joins pikachu in the mini ballroom
the other contest went well as next was the most coolest pokemon and greninja was entered in that one, the winner were a charizard in 3rd, greninja in 2nd and aerodactyl in 1st, then it was the best contest moves and in 3rd was volcarona with a amazing fire spin, 2nd was altaria with a superb dragon dance/perish song mix and in 1st was a lillipup with a spectacular giga impact/crunch combo (its my lillipup squibbs by the way).
next was the cutest pokemon and it was the one that bonnie's dedenne was entered in and in 3rd was a torchic, 2nd was a mudkip and 1st surprisingly was dedenne, lastly it was time for the most adorable pokemon that togepi was in and when togepi was given her number which was number 6 she went over to ash and serena
"to-to! pr-pr!" 'mama! papa!' togepi says happily as she ran over to serena and the honey blonde girl smiles
"hello togepi!" serena says happily picking up the egg pokémon "it's lovely to see you but you need to stand here, okay?" she says in her calming voice and she places togepi in the gap where she was meant to be
"toge to-to!" 'ok mama!' togepi says happily and serena goes back to her princess thrown
ash watches her and when she sits down she smiles at ash who smiles back, he then looks at togepi who was looking amazed by everything and it made ash chuckle, after a while of choosing a pokemon and both poppy and nurse going though the results they finally had a winner
"ok here is the winners of the most adorable pokemon" poppy says and she hand the card to serena
"ok in 3rd is...number 20!" serena says happily and number 20 was a spheal
the spheal got her green 3rd place ribbon from nurse joy and her owner got a bag of berries
"in 2nd place is...number 14!" serena says and number 14 was cleffa mainly poppy's cleffa
cleffa got her yellow 2nd place ribbon and poppy was holder up her gift card
"and in first place is...number 6!" serena says and she looks at togepi who was in her world so she didn't know what was happening
ash smiles as he goes over to togepi and he kneels down to her, togepi looks at ash when he kneels down and she smiles
"pr-pr!" 'papa!' togepi says happily and ash just chuckles
"hello togepi, did you know you won?" ash says and asks and togepi looked confused
"pree?" 'won?' togepi says confused and ash nods
"yeah, you won the most adorable pokemon contest so you get this" ash says and he holds up a red 1st place ribbon
togepi looks at the ribbon and she smiles widely as ash places the ribbon on her
"you also get this too" ash says and he places a little tiara on togepi's head "and here is a present" he says and he holds out a present to togepi
"toge!" 'yay!' togepi says happily and both ash and serena laugh
ash then picks up togepi and he takes her to the thrown, he then places togepi on his lap and togepi just giggles happily
"ok everyone, it's then end of the contest but it doesn't mean the ball is over, the ball is still going on till around midnight so i hope you enjoyed and i hope to see you again in 2 years time for the next rosiehill island event" poppy says and then she holds out a button
she pushes the button and then fireworks start going off in the night sky, everyone was amazed and they looked like they enjoyed their evening, poppy, her mother and mrs.sunfleur then go off and nurse joy heads to the mini ballroom, serena looks at ash who was petting togepi and she smiles
"ash! serena!" bonnie says as she comes up to the pair with clemont "dedenne really likes his crown" she says and she holds up the antenna pokemon
"he looks very royal" serena says and she giggles
"dede dedenne!" 'it's cause i am!' dedenne says proudly and bonnie giggles
"i agree with you, dedenne" bonnie says happily "come on, let's show the others" she says and she goes off with dedenne to the mini ballroom
"how are you, clemont?" serena asked when bonnie left
"i'm good, a bit embarrassed as bonnie kept asking all the woman here to 'look after me', i wish she'll stop doing that" clemont explains and both ash and serena smile at him
"its okay clemont, she's just looking out for you like all little sisters should do" serena says happily and clemont smiles at her
"i know...well i'm going to check on the pokémon to see how they are doing, see ya" clemont says and he goes off to join bonnie in the mini ballroom
"did you enjoy yourself, ash?" serena says as she turn to her boyfriend
"sure did, especially spending all of it with you" ash says in a loving tone and serena blushes
"same here, i had a lovely evening with you" serena says and it was ash's turn to blush
"pr-pr? toge?" 'papa? what that?' togepi says as she points at the present she won
"i don't know, shall we find out?" ash says happily and togepi smiles
"pree! pree!" 'yeah! yeah!' togepi says happily and ash smiles as he holds the present in front of him
ash was then about to open the present but then a crashing sound was heard making everyone gasp and look to where the smashing noise came from, everyone then saw 2 strange people standing in the middle of the ballroom with a honchkrow and a mismagius beside them
"mismagius! trick room!" the lady shouts and the ghost pokemon responds
then the room goes all weird and it starts making people look really confused, ash and serena were also in the trick room and they tried to find each other
"ash! where are you!" serena says looking around at the confusing room as it was all over the place like the stairs illusion
all of a sudden she feels something grab her arms like bird claws and she struggles to be free, pikachu who saw what happened see serena be taken away by the honchkrow and he jumps into action by running and grabbing onto serena's dress, soon the trick room faded and everyone sees serena be taken off by the honchkrow and the mismagius that was next to the honchkrow
"serena!" ash shouts when he sees serena then he spots pikachu "pikachu!" he shouts seeing his buddy grabbing on to serena's dress for dear life
"pika pi, pikachu pi" 'ash, take care of pip' pikachu says before he disappears with serena and the 2 pokemon
everything was then silent as everyone was stunned on what just happened, a while later and the hall was empty as the guests had been sent to their booked rooms or sent back to kalos island, ash, clemont and bonnie were standing in front of poppy, her mother and mrs.sunfleur with poppy pacing in worry and confusion, ash, clemont and bonnie were also back in their normal travel outfits as they felt their ball outfits weren't needed anymore and ash was holding togepi in his arms and he had pip on his shoulder like pikachu usually was
"this is terrible! why did this happen! everything was going so well too" poppy says as she paces
"calm down dear, there is always a reason for things like this" poppy's mother hazel says as she places a hand on poppy's shoulder
"it was cause of the ruby rose petal necklace" mrs.sunfleur says and everyone looks at her "i notice miss.serena was wearing the necklace and the necklace is a historic item" she says and she goes into story mode
"many years ago, the first princess that lived in this mansion wore a ruby rose petal necklace and it was given to her by her fiancé for her 21st birthday, she also owned the legendary pokemon meloetta and the singing pokemon always loved to sing, the princess and meloetta were inseparable till one day the princess had to run and hide due to a pokemon war and the princess had to hide, she intrusted meloetta with her necklace and then she disappeared, she sadly never came back and meloetta knew this so she held onto the necklace and she would only hand it to someone that had the same aura as the princess, so it's seems that miss.serena had the same aura as the first princess and meloetta felt it so she entrusted the necklace to her" mrs.sunfleur explains in story mode and then she looks at the kids
"do you have a picture of this princess?" poppy asked and mrs.sunfleur pulls out a old picture from her bag
the picture had a girl in a old fashion dress with medium sized hair, she was wearing the ruby rose petal necklace like the one serena had but she had the same face as serena and next to her was meloetta who looked happy
"she looks like serena" bonnie says looking at clemont "what was her name?" she asked
"her name was princess serenity and she was a very well known princess back in the day" mrs.sunfleur says with a sigh
"anyway we need to find out where those theifs took serena and pikachu" ash says changing the topic "we know now they took serena for the necklace but where did they take her?" he says and asked
then a noise was heard and the pokemon meloetta appears behind the thrown that serena sat on, she then goes around looking at everyone
"is that?" poppy says and mrs.sunfleur nod
"yep, that's the princess' pokemon meloetta" mrs.sunfleur says as she watches the pokemon inspect everyone "i guess she's wanting to know where miss.serena is gone" she adds as she watched
meloetta goes to everyone and the last person she goes to is ash, she inspects him then she gets happy
"melo! melo!" 'it's you! it's you!' meloetta says and she spins around ash
"what?" ash says confused and meloetta stops in front of ash
"melo meloetta meloet" 'you're the one lady serena loves' meloetta says happily "melotta melo meloetta melotta" 'i can help you find her and reunite' she adds in a happy tone 
"you will? that's great!" ash says happily and the others look at him confused "she will help us look for serena" ash says and the others smile
"that's great! i hope serena and pikachu are okay?" bonnie says happily then gets worried
"i know pikachu will be fine as he's a determined pokemon and he will look after serena" ash says happily and he sees pip agreeing with him
"so then we set off tomorrow morning for our rescue mission, for now though i think we need a good sleep from this ball" poppy's mother says and the others agree
poppy and her mother then take the 3 kids to their bedroom and ash had his own room and bonnie and clemont were in the bedroom next door, ash also had the room with pip and togepi as he needed to look after the pair for both pikachu's and serena's sake, also all the pokemon were back in their pokeballs and ash had serena's pokémon and her bag too
"to toge to-to" 'i miss mama' togepi says as ash gets into bed
"don't worry, mommy will be fine, she has pikachu with her and you know she's very strong" ash says as he snuggles togepi
"...toge pr-pr" '...love you papa' togepi says gaining a little smile then snuggling near ash's chest before going to sleep
"love you too, togepi" ash mumbles and then he goes to sleep with pip shortly after
meanwhile with serena and her with pikachu were being taken somewhere by boat but they didn't know as they were locked up in the cargo hold of the boat
"pikachu pipika?" 'are you okay, serena?' pikachu asked serena and he gets a head rub
"i'm fine pikachu, thank you for keeping me company" serena says and she cuddles pikachu near her chest
pikachu smiles then before long the pair had fallen asleep as they didn't realise how exhausted they were, the next day and ash, clemont, bonnie, pip and togepi were getting ready to go and they were getting into poppy's boat, poppy was also wearing a white t-shirt, blue shorts and stripy flip flops
"you all ready to go?" poppy says happily and the others nods
meloetta who was ontop of the boat then sang a 'do re me fa so la ti do' melody and she soon gets a response she can only here
"melo!" 'this way!' the melody pokemon says and she points east
"ok! let's go" poppy says as she starts the boat and then she goes off
they were out on the sea now with poppy driving, meloetta sitting at the front of the boat listening for the ruby rose petal, in the back seats clemont and bonnie were feeding the pokemon as they hadn't had their breakfast yet since they could only have a quick breakfast and ash was bottle feeding togepi who was happily drinking, ash then looks at pip who was sitting in front of him as he was sitting in the corner seat and she was nibbling on her food.
pip was a little different to pikachu to look at as first she had a dent in her tail like most female pikachu do but she also was a little brighter yellow fur colour to pikachu, she had pretty blue eyes to pikachu's chocolate brown eyes and she had 2 little tuffs on her head, she was a cute pikachu and serena was lucky to have her on her team as she suited her.
ash then looks st togepi who just finished her milk and then ash nuzzles her happily making the egg pokemon giggle happily, togepi then sits on ash's lap when ash puts her there and then he sees pip jump over to him when she was done with her food, ash then uses his right hand to pet pip while his left hand was around togepi, pip loved the pets and she squeaked happily ash rubs her under the left cheek like what he did last night when she won the prettiest pokemon contest
"hey ash!" clemont says and ash looks over at him "are you okay? you looked a bit out of it" he asked as he saw ash with a strange face expression
"oh! i'm fine just worried about serena" ash says and both clemont and bonnie soft smile at him
"she'll be okay, as you said yesterday she has pikachu and you know how good of a protector he is" bonnie says happily and ash smiles as well as pip
"i know but it's just i miss her" ash says and he looks up at the blue sky
"we know and we'll fine her and pikachu" clemont says happily "right bonnie?" he says to his little sister
"right clemont!" bonnie says happily looking determined at her big brother
"dedenne!" 'i agree' dedenne says jumping onto bonnie's head and doing a air bump
the 3 of them smiles but then clemont sees chespin and pancham fighting again
"you 2! will you cut it out!" clemont says as he splits up the pair by blocking them with his arms
at this point ash was in his mind thinking about serena and the fun he had last night with her, he was prince of the ball thanks to her, he had a lovely dance with her, she was very beautiful in that ball dress with red flower hair accessory and the now known ruby rose petal necklace moloetta gave her, she and him got to do the pokemon contest together and it was just a lovely night, ash then felt a tap on his left arm and he comes back to reailty to see that it was sylveon
"sylv?" 'ash?' sylveon says shyly "sylve...sylveon?" 'can you...brush me?' she asks and hold onto a brush with one of her feelers
"you want a brush?" ash says realising what the intertwining pokémon wanted and smiles "ok!" he says happily
he then grabs the brush from sylveon as the eeveelution gains a smile and then ash starts brushing her after putting togepi by pip, he brushes sylveon just like the time serena taught him how to a while back and sylveon loved it
"pika pi? pikachu pika pi pika?" 'ash? can i have a brush after please?" pip says as she runs up next to ash
"sure thing pip, let me just finish sylveon" ash says happily as it gave him something to do and not worry to much
he then finished sylveon ans moved on to pip, he brushed the mouse pokemon happily and pip was enjoying it, meanwhile in the cargo hold of the boat the gang were on and team rocket were hiding in there
"can you 2 move out of the way! i haven't got any room!" jessie complained as she pushes james and meowth
"we can't, this place isn't meant to store 2 people and a pokemon" meowth says as he manages to squeeze out of jessie pushing him into james
"i know that! *heavy sigh* james! what are the twerps doing?" jessie says and asks james who was next to her
james then grabs a periscope and pokes it up though a wood crack on the floor then he looks around
"well...i see the inventor twerp trying to break up a fight with his chespin and the twerpette's pancham, the little twerpette playing with her dedenne and the twerp with the twerpette's pikachu and sylveon" james explains as he looks around
"this feels like a perfect to swipe all their pokemon and take them all to the boss" jessie says sounding angry and both meowth and james look at her
they then look at each other when they see fire coming from jessie's eyes and they sigh
"do you think she's still upset that she came 4th at the princess of the ball contest?" meowth says and james nods
"no doubt" james says and he looks though the periscope again
"*sigh* i wish she stop overreacting to things" meowth says and he sits down and sighs again
though the periscope james can see that clemont had stopped chespin and pancham from fighting by giving them berries he got from poppy, bonnie was making sure all the pokemon were okay with dedenne on her head and then he looks at ash who was daydreaming as he finished brushing pip, he also had pip sitting next to him and togepi on his lap, james then pulls the periscope down and looks at his friends to see jessie stropping and meowth looking bored.
meanwhile with serena and pikachu and they were woken up to someone or something carrying then in a cage that they weren't in before, they couldn't tell as the cage had a blanket over it but it didn't stop pikachu from checking so he pokes his head out to see that they were heading to a what looks to be a lair but it was made from a cave
"pikachu pika pika pikachu" 'we are heading to a cave lair' pikachu says to serena ashe looks back at her
"a cave lair?" serena says confused and pikachu nods "never heard of one of them before" she says and pikachu shrugs
they then feel the cage stop and then there was some moving about like the cage was being put down, they then felt like they were in a lift and when it stopped the cage was picked up again and was moved, the cage then stopped after not moving very far and was put down again
"boss, we have the ruby rose petal necklace" a man voice says from serena and pikachu's right "we had to capture the girl wearing it but we have it" he adds and serena wasn't quite sure what he was talking about
"show her to me!" another man's voice says and it was booming and deep
the cover then came off the cage and serena looks around with pikachu jumping into her arms to protect her
"ahh...no wonder meloetta entrusted her with the necklace" the man says and he had a gray outfit on which was a jacket, trousers and black shoes, he had black hair and big deep blue eyes "she looks like the first princess and that means she has to be the one to do it" he adds and serena felt so lost
"sir, meloetta will be coming here to get the necklace back, what do we do?" a lady says from serena and pikachu's left
"fight her off till we have everything ready" the boss man says "in the meantime, put the girl and the pokemon in the prison cells" he demands and a 'yes sir' was heard
serena and pikachu were then taken to a cellar where some prison cages were, they were then put inside and locked in by the 2 people that brought them here before they were left alone
"i wonder if they are referring to this" serena says when it was dead quiet and she points to her necklace
"pikachu" 'i think so' pikachu says and he touches the necklace
nothing happened when pikachu touched it so he was confused
"what's so special about this necklace anywa-!" serena says as she touches it and then she gets a vision
the vision was of a boat and in the front of the boat was meloetta, driving the boat was poppy and then in the seats behind poppy were ash, bonnie, clemont, togepi, pip and the other pokemon, serena then pulled her hands away then looks at pikachu who looked concerned
"they're coming..." serena says and she smiles "ash and the other are coming to rescue us" she says and pikachu smiles
"pikachu!" 'that's great!' pikachu says happily and he hugs serena
serena hugs pikachu back then starts scratching his head which pikachu loved, she then smiles at pikachu then sighs on how she got into this mess, back on the boat and mostly everyone has dozed off, bonnie was asleep on the chair with dedenne by her chest, clemont was one of 3 awake and he was building something and the other 2 awake were poppy and meloetta, most of the pokemon were sleeping on each other or in their own space on the floor and lastly ash was in the corner of the boat with his head lening on the edge of the chair, he was holding togepi near his chest and pip was asleep on his hip.
meloetta was humming at the front of the boat as she was listening for the crystal then she feel a disturbance but it was a good disturbance as she could see in a vision thanks to the necklace serena and pikachu in a prison cell with each other, she then smiles an then she float over to where ash was sleeping
"melo!" 'ash!' meloetta says when she gets to ash "melo!" 'ash!' she say again an that made ash stir
"huh? what is it?" ash says sleepy a he sees meloetta in front of him
"meloetta melo melotta!" 'lady serena and pikachu are okay!" meloetta say happily "meloetta meloetta melo melo meloetta!" 'i saw them in a vision and they're in a prison cell somewhere!" she adds calmer then before
then ash smiles sleepy and meloetta smiles back
"thanks for telling me, i was really worried about them" ash says then he fall back to sleep again
meloetta then leaves ash to sleep and she goes back to the front of the boat to listen for the necklace, after for driving in the boat for a few hours the group had finally reached land and they changed from a boat to a car as poppy rented a 4x4
"th-this ro-road i-is re-really bu-bumpy" bonnie says as the road they were taking was rocky
bonnie was clinging to clemont and he was clinging to the roof handle, ash was also clinging to the roof handle and he was holding togepi tightly and pip was holding onto ash's hip
"not my fault, i just following meloetta" poppy says as she points to the melody pokemon
meloetta was following a road that the theifs took as the necklace had left a invisible trail that only meloetta can see, it was a few hours but then they had to stop as it was getting dark and poppy was getting exhausted
"that was the most driving i've done in years" poppy says after yawning
they had parked in a grass patch that was by a big rock and they put the campfire by the rock, clemont was putting bonnie into their tent, bonnie was getting ready to sleep with dedenne next to her, poppy was watching the fire waiting for her tiredness to take over and ash was getting ready to sleep in the back of the 4x4, he had also put togepi to bed in his sleeping bag and pip was curled up ontop of the pillow
"thanks for driving us, i wouldn't know how to get to serena otherwise" ash says as he joins poppy by the fire
"your welcome, i just love to be helpful and my mom says i get it from my grandmother as she was always willing to help people and pokemon in danger" poppy explains and she gives a warm smile
"melo meloetta melo melo" 'we should be at out destination by tomorrow afternoon' meloetta says from her spot ontop of the rock and both ash and poppy look at her "melo melo meloetta meloetta melo-melo!" 'then you get to meet your lady serena again, sir ash' she adds making the boy blush a little
"well...i'm off to bed, see you all in the morning" poppy says and she goes to sleep in her sleeping bag
ash decided to head to bed too and as he approaches the 4x4 he hears togepi start to cry
"togepi! what's wrong?" ash says as he picks up the egg pokemon when he gets in the 4x4
"to-to toge to-to" 'i...i miss mama' togepi says upset and ash rocks her in his arms
"shh! it's okay, you'll get to meet mommy again tomorrow" ash says in a comforting tone and togepi looks up at him with her blue eyes
togepi then snuggles into ash's chest still quietly crying then ash gets an idea
"hey, how about we open that present you won yesterday?" ash suggested and togepi looks at him again
she then nods and ash smiles before grabbing the present out of his bag, he then opens it for togepi as she watches sitting on ash's pillow and inside was a little teddy bear plushie
"aww! look at this" ash says as he rubs the teddy's nose on togepi which made her giggle "a little teddy to keep you company" he adds as togepi takes the teddy from him
"...toge to...pr-pr..." '...love you...papa...' togepi says manages to say before dropping off to sleep hugging her teddy tightly
"love you too togepi, mommy does too" ash says and he snuggles into his sleeping bag
he then hugs togepi close to his chest and then they were all asleep ready for tomorrow rescue mission for serena and pikachu, meanwhile back with serena and pikachu and the pair were hungry as they hadn't had anything to eat all day
"ugh!" serena growns as her stomach growls again "i wish i had something to eat!" she says annoyed
"pikachu..." 'me too' pikachu says from next to serena also starving
all of a sudden the necklace glows which both serena and pikachu notice and then in front of serena and pikachu was a bundle of food which both serena and pikachu loved to eat
"wow! where did this food come from?!" serena says suprised as pikachu grabs a berry
serena then grabbed her food and then the pair start tucking in, it was delicious and the pair ate everything, after eating the pair were both full and exhausted
"hmm...i wish i had a comfy bed and some pyjamas?" serena says trying to see if the necklace will hear her wish "
it worked and all of a sudden her cell had a single bed where the uncomfortable metal plank use to be, serena was also wearing some stripy top and bottom pyjamas that replaced her ball dress and she loved it, she then gets into the bed and she gets comfy while pikachu gets snuggly near her chest
"night pikachu" serena says before falling asleep
"pika pipika" 'night serena' pikachu says as he falls asleep too
the pair were fast asleep but they don't notice the camera that had watched then the whole time they have been in the cell and the boss man was watching though the screen on his desk
"the necklace is revealing more of its power, soon it'll be strong enough to summon...them" the boss man says then he holds up a picture that made him smile
back with the rescue group and it was a quiet night as all of them slept, just then the 2 spies that took serena appear in the darkness with their honchkrow and mismagius and they look around the camp with their night binoculars
"boss, we've found the camp of meloetta's rescue squad, 3 of them are sleeping outside and one of them is sleeping in the car they have, what do we do?" the lady says though the walkie-talkie
"take the car, we can use the person as a witness to what we are about to do" the boss man's voice says from the device
"ok, boss, over and out" the lady says and then she does a 'go' hand movement to her partner
they then move with their pokemon and get to work, meanwhile in the 4x4 ask was sleeping peacefully with togepi by his chest hugging her new teddy and pip above ash's head curled up, ash also kept his and serena's bags in the foot room on the right side and in the boot of the 4x4 were a sleeping team rocket with jessie, james and meowth all cuddled up to each other, the 2 spies then get into the car without anyone detecting them and then they drive off with the car being unnoticed
"sir, we have the car and the person is the boy that is a acquaintance to the girl" the lady quietly says to the walkie-talkie
"good...now make sure he's fully asleep" the boss man's voice says from the little device
"will do, boss" the lady says "he also seems to have a pikachu with him, what do we do with that?" she asked
"any pokemon he has will be locked up with him, got it" the boss man's voice says with a little anger
"got it, boss, over and out" the lady says and she puts away the walkie-talkie
the car then kept going into the night with a sleeping ash, togepi, pip and team rocket in the car, the next morning and poppy wakes up
"*yawn*...huh?" poppy says as she notice the car was gone "oh no!" she says loudly causing clemont and bonnie to wake up
"what's happened?" bonnie says as she gets up rubbing her eye
"the 4x4! it's gone!" poppy says and that causes the sibling pair to wake up fully
"wait? what!" clemont says as he looks where the 4x4 was and sure enough it was gone "ash was in there!" he says and both him and bonnie were worried
"don't worry, i have a plan b" poppy says and she throws some pokeballs
the pokeballs open up and they reveal a ponyta and a rapidash
"clemont, you join me on rapidash and bonnie, you ride ponyta" poppy says and she helps clemont on rapidash
bonnie gets on ponyta with ease and she was loving it
"you ready, girl" poppy says to rapidash and gets a happy nagh in response "ok, let's go!" she says and rapidash run ahead with ponyta and bonnie not far behind with meloetta too who was slugging behind as she just woken up
meanwhile in a cage and ash wake up, he looks around and sees he not where he was meant to be
"huh? how did i get here?" ash says as he looks around then he notices pip next to him "pip!" he says shaking the female pikachu and she stirs
"pi?" 'huh?' pip says as she gets up and then she gets confused "pikachu pi?" 'where are we?' she asked confused
"i don't know but i think we were taken last night as we were asleep in the car" ash says and he looked serious
"pika pi! pika pipipi?!" 'ash! where's togepi?!" pip says realising and ash realises too
both of them notice that togepi wasn't with them in the cage and ash then goes into panic mode, meanwhile in the 4x4 and team rocket get woken up by crying, meowth rubs his eyes annoyed but then realises who the crying belong to and goes to the back seat to see togepi
"togepi! it's okay!" meowth says trying to calm down the egg pokemon which it does a little
"pr-pr! pr-pr toge!" 'papa! papa's gone!" togepi says upset and she cries again
jessie and james see that meowth and togepi were standing on a empty sleeping bag that belonged to ash but he was nowhere to be found, the only thing that were there though besides the sleeping bag were ash's and serena's bags which the pair knew had pokeballs in them
"why don't we just take the pokemon out of the bag and get out of here" jessie suggested pointing to the bag and both james and meowth look at her with doubt
"but jessie...we can't just leave togepi here to cry and besides, we need to know why they took the twerp and twerpette in the first place" meowth says and james agrees with him
jessie goes silent for a moment as she watches james put his hand on togepi, he then pets the egg pokemon and it seems to calm her down just giving her a cute sad face
"ugh! fine...we go look for the twerp and twerpette!" jessie says giving up and both meowth and james smiled
they then went into stealth mode and left the car with james having togepi, they then sneak off to see if they can locate either serena or ash, meanwhile in the cell and serena and pikachu had just woken up and serena wished for her usually outfit with the necklace which she got, she then wished for food like what she did last night but more calmer and the wish was granted
"this is as good as yesterday" serena says and pikachu nods to agree
after they had their breakfast they try and find a way out but then someone approached the cage
"hello young lady" the man says evily and it was the boss man who had a gengar next to him
"let us out!" serena says angry and the boss man shakes his head
"you know i can't do that but it was worth a try" the boss man says "gengar, hypnosis" he demands his shadow pokemon and it does what is told
he then puts serena and pikachu to sleep with the hypnosis and theman laughs evily
"it's now time for the event!" he announces as he gets his goons to drag serena and pikachu away
he then goes with the goons and they leave the cell room, meanwhile ash was watching as he sat crossed legged as pip uses her iron tail to try to open the cage which doesn't work and pip gets tired
"it's okay pip" ash says as he picks up the mouse pokemon
pip smiles at ash exhausted then they hear doors open behind them, they look and they see the boss man come in and 2 goons with serena and pikachu
"serena! pikachu!" ash says as he saw his girlfriend and his buddy
"pikachu! pipika!" 'pikachu! serena!' pip says from ash's lap
the boss man then puts serena in a contraption and one of the goons puts pikachu in the cage with ash and pip
"pikachu?" ash says and the male mouse pokemon stirs
"pikachu? pika pika?" 'pikachu? you okay?' pip says from next to pikachu
"pikapi?...pi?" 'ash?...pip?' pikachu says as he awakes and looks at the pair
"are you okay, buddy?" ash asks and pikachu nods
"pi, pikachu pipika pika" 'yeah, i looked after serena for you' pikachu says sounding proud and ash smiles
pip then goes over to pikachu and uses nuzzle on his cheek, it seem to get pikachu moving again as the hypnosis was strong on him and he stands up by pip
"now witness, boy! to the birth of my evil pokemon" the boss says making ash, pikachu and pip look at him "now gengar!" he demands his gengar and the shadow pokemon uses hypnosis on serena
"serena! no!" ash says as he sticks his hand out of the cage
serena then opens her eyes to reveal her baby blue eyes had turned into a dark gray colour then she puts her hand out dramatically, then a portal appears and then slowly 3 pokemon come out of the portal, those pokemon were the 3 legendary beasts raikou, suicune and entei, the 3 beasts (they're beasts, not dogs as raikou and entei are based on big cats) had the same gray eyes as serena and they looked ready to take commands, meanwhile hiding behind dome boxes team rocket hid with togepi still in james' arms
"i can't believe what i'm seeing, the 3 beasts standing right there" meowth says shocked and amazed then he felt worried "but...i can't hear their voices" he adds with his ears slightly drooped
"it worked! let's try it out" the boss man says evily "princess! tell the beasts to attack those boxes!" he demands and serena lifts up her hand
the 3 beasts then do a attack with raikou using charge beam, suicune using aurora beam ad entei using flamethrower, they then release their attacks and team rocket knew a little late that the attack was heading towards their box, they managed to dodge out of the way from the electric, ice and fire attack but as they moved james accidently trips and he sends togepi flying as he didn't have a strong grip on her, she then landed in front of the beasts
"toge?" 'huh?' togepi says confused as she looks at the beasts
"togepi!" ash shouts as he sees the egg pokemon land in front of the beasts
when hearing the name, serena jumps a little and she looks at togepi with her hypnotised gray eyes, togepi looks around then she spots serena
"to-to!" 'mama!' togepi says happy to see her mama again and ran over to her
togepi then got to serena and when she did she sees something off about her and it made her confused, ash watches with pikachu and pip by his side with so much worry in his face and both pikachu and pip were also worried
"to-to?" 'mama?' togepi says confused and worried as she tugs serena's sock
"princess! get rid of the pests!" the boss man says pointing to team rocket and serena lifts her hand up
the beasts then attacked team rocket using the moves they did before and it sends the trio flying out of the building
"togepree!" 'uncle meowth!' togepi says in shock as she saw the scratch cat pokemon fly out of the building
"this is great, now to do one last thing before we start" the boss man says and he points to togepi "princess! get rid of this egg pokemon!" he demands and serena was about to lift her hand up but she started to struggle
"serena! don't attack!" ash shouts to serena "it's togepi you're trying to attack!" he adds and serena struggles more
"to-to?" 'mama?' togepi says started to cry "to toge to" 'i love you' she says really scared as tears roll down her face
serena then stops struggling and she lifts up her right hand with the boss man grinning evily, ash, pikachu and pip looking shocked and togepi crying, serena then holds up 3 fingers and puts her index finger and this causes the thunder pokémon raikou, the electric beast then looks around confused then it sees its friends looking weird
"pika! pikachu pika pi?" 'raikou! can you help us out?' pikachu asked the thunder pokemon as it looks at him and it nods
raikou then goes to the cage and snaps the lock apart with its jaw, ash, pip and pikachu then exit and then they see serena put down her middle finger, this causes suicune to snap out of it and it looks around confused
"growl!" 'suicune!' raikou says to the aurora pokémon and suicune looks at raikou
they then run up to each other and headbutt before looking at the boss man who was starting to retreat, suicune then does a ice beam and it freezes the boss man in place, ash, pip and pikachu run up to serena and unhook her from the device after she puts down her ring finger which snaps entei out of his trance
"rawr?" 'where am i?' entei says confused then was met with raikou and suicune
"serena!" ash says as he places serena on the floor with pip, pikachu and togepi around her "please move or say something if you are okay" ash says started to feel worried and sad
serena then open her eyes and smile at ash happily
"hello!" serena says and ash smiles happily
ash, serena, pip, pikachu and togepi then have a reunion with ash and serena having a kiss, serena hugging both pikachu and pip and then giving a forehead kiss to togepi which made her giggle, ash and serena then look over at the 3 beasts who were looking at them
"what are those pokemon?" serena says as she's never seen them before
"they're raikou, suicune and entei" ash says as he looks at serena "3 legendaries from the johto region" he adds and serena looked amazed
togepi then goes over to the beasts and ash, serena, pip and pikachu see her waddling over
"togepi!" serena says with more worry then anything and the egg pokemon stops in front of the beasts with then looking at her
"toge!~" 'hello!~' togepi says happily and waves her arm to wave
raikou then steps forward and it sniffs togepi before softy licking her with nuzzling and togepi giggles, suicune then goes over and nuzzles togepi with licks and she love it, entei just watches proudly as his 2 friends were cuddling the egg pokemon and ash, serena, pip and pikachu look in amazement
"gerr! i almost had it!" the boss man says and everyone looks at him "how? how did you break out of gengar's trance so easily?" he asked as his pokemon was by his side
"i believe it was the work of love and friendship that set you back" a voice says and then poppy, clemont and bonnie ride in on the rapidash and ponyta
they then get off the horse pokemon and poppy calls them back as meloetta floats by bonnie
"meloetta! melo melotta melo melo" 'you found lady serena! i'm so happy for you, sir ash' meloetta says happily and the couple giggle and blush
"now, you are going to jail big time, buddy!" poppy says and she she blows a whistle
some cops then appears and they take the boss man out of his ice prison before arresting him and taking him away
"i will get revenge for this! someday!" the boss man shouts as he was taken away
they all look at him and then they laugh knowing that was never going to happen, a while later outside the lair and serena with the help of the necklace opens a portal for the beasts to head back to johto
"here you are! raikou, suicune and entei" serena says happily "your portal home" she adds and shows the portal to the beasts
the 3 beasts look happy
entei was the first one to go to the portal and it then looks at togepi who was by the portal, it then lifts it's right paw and pets togepi softly on the head making the egg pokemon giggle, entei then stops and it then goes though the portal, next was suicune and the aurora pokemon stops by togepi and nuzzles her with lick kisses like it did before but more happy before going though the portal, the last to go was raikou and it did the same as suicune and gave togepi nuzzles and kisses before going though the portal, the portal then closes and everyone was silent on how cute the beast trio were to togepi
"that...was adorable! togepi! you're so lucky to befriend the legendary trio!" bonnie says excited and togepi squeaks happily
"well...i guess i have to take you all back to the kalos region, it was fun this trip" poppy says happily "i'm glad you all got back together again" she adds
"oh! you and meloetta better take this, even though it's really useful, it's a royal item and i think you should have it" serena says and she takes off the necklace
she hands it to meloetta and the melody pokemon was happy
"thank you" poppy says happily and the other kids smile "let's go!" she adds and the group get in the 4x4
they then set off on they drive/boat ride to the kalos region and remember the huge event that they had.
