Chapter 7

(Zeta PoV)

I woke up next to the French beauty, seeing our clothes thrown around the room. I smiled and felt Emma cuddle up closer. I looked down at her and saw a smile on her face. She was still asleep. I quickly checked the time and noticed it was 6 AM. I decided to put my head back down when I heard a knock on the door. I sighed before getting up, hearing a little whimper from Emma as I left the bed.

I got dressed and headed for the Door, opening it to see Alice, "Hey bro, you up for heading down to the bar later. Me, you, Dom, Mark, Monika, Y/n (Ghost), and Yumiko."

"Sure, I'll ask if Emma want's to join." I responded, Alice then Smiled. "Oh you should not have said that to me." Alice said with a giggle, "So about Dom, tell me the story about that." I said smiling, I watched as her face went red. She brushed into the living room and sat down. I closed the door and heard some movement in the bedroom, I'm guessing Emma as surfaced.

"So when you fell out of the Cargo plane, we were all distraught. Me and Emma the most. Some of the Recruits were trying to use my sadness to get in my pants, and Dom stopped this from happening, many times in fact. He was there as a shoulder when I needed it and once I eventually got my rationality back. it was me who asked him out." She explained, I nodded, "So no it's not like Derik or Tom on the Spirit." She finished.

"If he-" she cut me off, "I am not a little girl anymore Y/n (Zeta), I can protect myself." She said, I sighed, "If you let me finish. If he makes you happy then I don't really mind. But if he hurts you then I'll be there if you need me." I said, that's when I we saw Emma leaning against the door frame, "That was quite wholesome." She said, sitting down next to me. We talked for a few minutes before Alice got up to leave. Emma had her head on my shoulder, "What should we do? It's our day off." Emma asked.

"I'm not sure, we could anything you want, although later I have been invited to the pub, do you want to tag along?" I asked, she smiled, "Yeah, I'd like that." She responded.

After a couple of hours watching things on the TV I decided to actually fix my armour systems. Get the Comms back online as well as the respirators. This took a 2 more hours and by the time I finished the others were getting ready to go out, so I joined them. Placing my armour and weapons safely under my bed.

(Time Skip to bar)

We were chilling in the bar, some of the others got drunk quite easily, I was always strange, having a quite high resistance to alcohol. Same with Y/n (Ghost), So whilst the others were drunken messes me and Ghost sat there and chilled, occasionally helping the others not hurt them selves but mainly talked with each other.

"So Zeta, here's one thing I need to ask, Where did you come from? Like you literally dropped from the sky like an angel." He chuckled, "Well, that's a very long story. Grew up in Germany, got trained in the UNSC, moved over to the ODST corps, trained there, joined the Spirit of Fire's crew for a bit, then got shot through time and space to here." I said quickly. He chuckled a bit.

"Ight, that's quite the ride isn't it." he chuckled, "Yeah, there's a lot more that's happened. We got attacked on a shield world trying to save a professor. Fought this alien parasite for a bit, then blew up a star which was fun." I explained with slight chuckles.

Then we saw as Alice started getting clingy, to like everyone. "I think it's time to head back, it's 2 AM and Alice is a bit too drunk." I said chuckling, Ghost agreed. But Alice and Emma didn't.

"No, I want to stay." Alice said with a bit of anger in her voice, it reminded me of when she was a kid. "Alice your 32 not 4. Come on we are going home." I said, she seemed upset but followed us, Emma then attached to my arm. We walked out of the pub and got the others in the cars after I managed to get Emma off my arm. It was actually quite cute to be honest.
