After a particular encounter from a pair of twins, Izuru Kamakura found himself thinking about what one of them had in mind... To cause despair in this ever weary world he found himself in.
He looks down from a building, a mass suicide appearing before him; such a disturbing spectacle that merely serves as a form of display, a boring attempt to entertain him. He didn't really found it entertaining, really.
Something so grotesque would get anyone on their feet, succumb into their despair, question their existence, end their existence... Or maybe become one of despair, to cause despair, to embrace despair.
Izuru, however, he was noticeably different amongst the others.
The grotesquerie spectacle before him was nothing unlike the other, a usual happening. After all, death is inevitable among a hopeless humanity fleeting to a wrong path, an unexpected, yet ironically expected path of despair.
"Despair...," Izuru began, his head tipping to the side at the slightest to give his companion a look. "It's all so boring." You glanced at him with a wince of confusion.
"Look at how they crawl around like ants," he points out, as he looks down.
"They fascinate confusing fates, my darling." You replied, as you sat by the edge of the building tipping over to look down to where Izuru was looking. "Two types of people reign their world. What they call an optimist and a pessimist. Those who have positive outlook, those who have negative..."
"They blame fate for the lives that they lead, they hope for the lives that they need — that they want." You stated. "They never get answers, but they still strive to know them."
"They live until they die. That's all there is. It's all so weary to me."
"Everything is weary for you." You remarked, glancing at him. He remained still. "But I don't blame you." You looked back at the ground below, flames lingered around the fallen debris of the fallen high and all mighty buildings that once loomed over the world, the prime corrupted of society, only to crash and fall like any other buildings.
No matter who high you are, fate finds ways to bring you down. Flying to close to the sun really is ambitious, but do put some sunscreen on. Not only would you have your skin burned, you'll have several bones broken. Maybe all of them.
"This world is a waste," Says he, turning to you, expecting a reply. "They struggle to face what can never be face. They go through a motion as if there'd be a reward... And here we are, eternally bored."
"They're human, Izuru. What did you expect? It's not like their purpose is to bring entertainment to you. Their purpose is to live, to succeed, to fail, to die. That's all that there is. It's their life they're wasting." You snapped at him. "We're just bystanders, doomed to watch them rise and fall repeatedly."
He scoffs.
"Perhaps you have a suggestion to resolve our boredom?" He raised a brow.
"Your boredom," you corrected with a slight sneer. "I'm satisfied with what we're presented at this current moment."
