You shyly held a neatly tied lunchbox in front of you, giving it to the lovely green eyed girl whom you secretly adored. You were going to put a love letter atop her favourite treat, but decided against by the last minute after your thoughts ran through the numerous (and atrocious) possible outcomes you can imagine possible.
"I made you your favourite," you held a finger up to scratch your chin. "Hope you like it!"
"Wow! Thanks Y/N-chan! You're a lifesaver!" She reddened, as she scratched the back of her neck. "I was running late and I forgot my lunch back home so uh—"
"Oh, you and I can share lunch together, I don't really mind." You shrugged.
"Really?" Komaru leaned closer, which prompted you to back away at the slightest before your body decides to rebel against you and pin her up against the nearest surface.... Oh Goddamnit, this is why you need to restrain yourself.
Your face reddened at the thoughts alone, and being in her presence makes you melt to a puddle of lovey dovey pile of goo at this very moment.
The dork just have to give you that smile— that smile you swoon over, the smile you adore whenever she wears it naturally across her features because of you. That sweet smile that sends sweet, heavenly, delightful nudges against your guts that the butterflies in your stomach fed on and will never ever get fed up with it... You will never deny to yourself that the smile she gives you is the best smile you have ever seen— a smile that you would love to see for forever. You wouldn't mind gazing onto them for eternity. The way that she smiles at you right now because she was thankful of you, that she needed you... It was making you overwhelmed with rich delight and euphoria.
"No problem," you waved your hand to insist. "Now come on, we'll eat the dessert last."
And after she finished her half, she began to chomp down on the cake your gave her; a simple cake that only consisted with flour, water, sugar and egg. No icing, no frosting, just the plain ol' lump of cake that she really enjoys— the cake you always brought to school because you couldn't put icing and frosting at home or else you'd be late.
"Wow... You're really talented, Y/N-chan!"
The girl happily gushed, as she felt the sweet on her tongue burst into her mouth with a rich flavour— not overwhelming, definitely not bland, but a perfect blend of sweetness that she preferred.
It would be a lie if you said you weren't blushing, and there was no way in hell were you going to deny that you are indeed flattered with her compliment. Especially when it's coming from her. The girl just has a way to your heart, and you don't know how she got herself carved into your heart; but you're not complaining... But at the same time, you weren't sure whether she likes you back or not.
As far as you know, she treats everyone else like this. She is a happy, upbeat and outgoing person you met. She is very understanding, innocent and naïve in some way, attractive in every way and it just draws you in.
"B-but aren't you going to feel... I don't know... Don't you feel fed up with it? I mean, I've been giving you the same pastry for about a year now—"
"Are you kidding?! No matter how many times I eat them they still taste amazing to me!"
The girl insisted, giving you a playful push that caused you to almost topple over the ground.
Her words immediately took you to flusteredville where all you can do was do shyly avert your gaze from the girl, your feet subconsciously drawing circles on the dirt below your feet.
