Gentle breeze blew by your direction as the steady blue waves washed upon the shore, tinted with sunset's golden ray and coloured the blue skies pink with a mix of purple giving the whole island an ethereal glow. The calming scent of the tropical waters flooded your senses, the sand under your feet stirred within every move as you idly walked along, hand in hand with a fellow student.
Hajime Hinata from the Reserve Course of Hope's Peak Academy captured your heart before he even assumed the identity of Izuru Kamukura, before the killing game, before the tragedies occurred and ended the world.
The way his emerald green gaze would glimmer with light up with joy as he smiled within your presence, an extreme contrast from his usual frown whenever he moped and sulked about his non existent talent. His smile, his laugh... His chestnut brown hair and how soft it looked, just urging you to run your fingers through them... The way he would reassure you, to remind you and make you believe you are enough... And like how he reassured you, you reassured him that he would be enough. Talent or no talent, you couldn't care less. You love him for who he is.
You fought hell and back, survived the world brought upon the despairingly events by Junko Enoshima and her predecessors, the Ultimate Despairs. You survived just to capture Izuru Kamukura and return him back to Hajime Hinata with the help of the Future Foundation, to revert the whole class of Miss Chisa Yokizome back to normal, bring forth the new hope for the world with a program designed to bring them to normal high school students like they once were...
Only for it to be sabotaged by your beloved Hajime Hinata himself in the form of Izuku Kamukura by bringing a trace of Enoshima with him. A virus that infiltrated the rehabilitation of the Ultimate Despairs. From watching a killing game before, you never knew you would be participating with them.
And now it was just all over. It ended. It was just you and a few other survivors, and of course your beloved Hajime Hinata inhabiting the island.
"So... What's going to happen to us?" You asked, leaning your head on Hajime's chest with a sigh as you gently halted by the shore, the waves just a few centimetres away from touching your toes.
"Frankly, I don't know..." His gentle voice sounded out, his chest slightly reverberating from his voice. "But all I know is that we can build our very own future. No hope, no despair. It's just us forging our own paths, our future."
Hajime's gentle fingers plucked your chin, tilting it upwards as his emerald gaze bore within yours with a glimmer of sheer affection and compassion. Smiling up at him, you closed the gap and had his lips on yours. You felt his lips tug upwards, leaning closer to deepened the kiss as his heart rate quickened at your intimate skinship. His hand was lifted upwards you stroke your face, whilst the other coiled around the small of your back to pull you closer to him, having no intention to let you go anytime at all. Pulling away, you lingered for a second as your foreheads pressed together.
"We'll get the others back... But for now," Hajime breathlessly spoke, his lips touching yours with every word, before he pressing yet another quick kiss. "Let's enjoy this..."
