"Niruha!”

They remain standing still. Tanya leaning on the warrior's chest just listening. Yangcha silently holding the priestess in his arms.

“Niruha?!” Agaji shouts again. It was coming near.

“I am here, Agaji,” Tanya answers reluctantly pulling away from the warrior.

“Niruha, Doti told me about the fall,” Agaji says panting. She looks at the priestess searching for injury.

“Are you hurt anywhere?” She noticed that the priestess was leaning on the warrior's arm.

“Just my pride,” Tanya admits trying to smile. She starts to walk but feel some soreness on her hips. Tanya clench her teeth and try to continue. She gasps when suddenly she was lifted by the warrior as if she weigh nothing. He starts walking.

Niruha!!!” Agaji said alarmed.

“Just until we reach Arthdal Agaji,” Tanya said tiredly. She was starting to ache everywhere.

She look at the warrior gratefully. She has a close up view of his profile. The eyes that she always thought are cold were actually very expressive. She cringed as she recall angry eyes at her when they were fighting. She remembers him watching closely the games when he was confused. How his eyes smiled, or when he was amused with the game. And how his eyes crinkled in worry. Or when he was looking at her softly after the kiss. She feel her cheeks heat up.

Yangcha could feel her stare. He knows she is thinking about her earlier comment. He doesn't know what to say on that. He was surprised too. He glance sideways and found the priestess blushing.

“Are you backing out from our truce?” he asks amused. They had a deal before Saya walked in.

“You stop thinking about that .. kiss! It's too distracting, I need my wits with Saya.,” Tanya whispered furiously. He agrees on that.

“Fine. A truce then unless you bring it up,” Yangcha answered.

“Ha! Why would I bring that up?!” Tanya asked perplexed. They didn't have time to discuss as Saya came in.

Tanya checks to see if Agaji and the servants are looking before whispering.

“Not a chance! I was just feeling a bit uncomfortable,” the priestess evaded.

Yangcha observes the priestess.

“You should put your arms on my neck so you won’t strain your back,” he instructed. She blushes.

“Never mind, I am ok.” She said looking away. He releases her fast then holds her again firmly. She gasps and cling to him unknowingly putting her arms on his neck.

Better?

She nods grudgingly. It was indeed a bit more comfortable than before. But it also means more closeness to him. She can smell the faint masculine scent of him.
