Yangcha was caught off guard by Tanya's words. His eyes glints amusedly.
Too late, he must have thought different. Tanya felt her face heat up.
"I wanted to see your .... wounds! If it's fully healed!" She explains hurriedly. Damn!
Yangcha looks at the embarrassed beauty. He raises one eyebrow. "I see." He tries not to smile.
"No really!" Tanya emphasized flushing at his amused look.
"Ayame told me what happened," Tanya added. Yangcha stills.
"What did she tell you?"
"That you don't like ... liver... " she tries not to laugh. Yangcha stands stiffly and gave her a suffering look.
"That ... was not funny." He said disgusted. Tanya can't help it. She starts laughing.
"You try arguing with a Neanthal! He wanted to shove that thing to my throat, " Yangcha said irritated. The image of Yangcha and the Neanthals was just too much. She laughs more.
Tanya tries to sober. "The intention was good. I would have done the same thing," she says seriously. "Now let me see that wound." He shakes his head.
"Later. You need to learn something too. You were lucky those assassins didn't catch you," Yangcha said grimly.
He hands the knife back to her. "Keep that." She nods. He looks pointedly at the knife waiting for her to sheath it.
"Ahhh ... I will do that later," she says embarassed to raise her skirt.
"Okay, try attacking me with that then."
"Can't I use my stones. I am more confident with that." He shakes his head.
"You won't have access to that always unless you are carrying stones with you," Yangcha explains.
Tanya nods. She takes a deep breath. She knows how fast he is. She evaluates how to attack him.
She moves low with the blade held at backwards angle. Yangcha evades the first slash. She push forward with her back stepping on his foot before striking the blade upward.
She almost got him. Yangcha smiles.
"Good." He grabs her wrist dislodging the blade. He hugs her from the back.
Tanya thinks fast. She elbows his abdomen then kicks him on the shin.
Yangcha bends over in surprised pain. She does know some moves, he thought amused.
Tanya gasps seeing him wince.
"Was that part of the training?" She rush to him worried. Yangcha suddenly hugs her from the back then puts the knife on her throat.
Tanya stills.
"What should you do then?" Yangcha asks. He hates that he has to teach her this. But dangerous times are coming.
Tanya runs over her possible moves in her head.
"Let her go!! I knew it," an angry Eunsom suddenly appears. He looks at Yangcha's arm on Tanya's waist and the blade on her neck. He tense for an attack.
Both looks at Eunsom, Yangcha releases his hold of Tanya but continue to stare at Eunsom.
"It's not what you think. We were training," Tanya says hurriedly.
No one was listening. Both men stare hard at each other. Tanya's temper snaps.
"Stop measuring each other! You are not enemies now. We are all on the same side," Tanya says exasperated.
