Chapter 8

After a week of observation, Yoohyeon's condition improved with the doctors medication. Lucy told JiU that the medication that JiU designed could potentially save Yoohyeon because the pill and Yoohyeon's prescription works surprisingly well together. JiU has been taking Gahyeon out late at night for stake outs instead of Yoohyeon and Yoohyeon felt guilty. She walked to JiU's office. She knock thrice, and then she walked in.

" JiU... "

She found JiU fast asleep in her chair. She found the chief the cutest when she was sleeping. Yoohyeon liked JiU. She knew that JiU was the one when she helped her get up on her feet again. However, Yoohyeon's character conflicted a lot with JiU's. JiU believed in vengeance whereas Yoohyeon would rather move on without holding any grudges. She gets the most annoyed when JiU does not understand her or call her weak because of their different views.

As she stared back at the older one, she went towards her, carried her and walked to her room.
( Her office and her room is two very different places ) When Yoohyeon tucked the older one to sleep, she left the room and went back to the office. She noticed that JiU's desk was cluttered with a lot of people. She tidied the stack of paper when she came across a few interesting findings.

She read the document that was labelled with drugs. She found it interesting however she did not understand much sadly. She saw that JiU was finding a hard time finding a new apprentice. However, there was a potential. Yoohyeon saw potential in Gahyeon. But like what Yoohyeon believed, she doesn't want to take revenge. Yoohyeon looked at the map last. There were a lot of crosses and circles which she understood. The crosses on the map represented the places that they have staked out at, the circles represented new places to stake out.

Yoohyeon looked at the paper, sighed and then thought to herself,

Each day is growing closer, am I going to be okay ? Who am I kidding, I have to leave the Nightmares soon, even if it means leaving JiU, but I have to help her. Argh, this is so frustrating.

Yoohyeon's thoughts were interrupted when she heard JiU's voice.

" Just what do you think you are doing ? "

" I'm... you were sleeping so I brought you to your room, and then I organised your table. "

" What did I say about touching my stuff ? "

" ... "

" That's right, don't touch them. "

" I'm sorry JiU. "

" From now on call me chief. "

" What why ? "

" That's not important, now leave my room and meet me and Gahyeon at 11:00pm. "

" Okay. "

JiU was unusually angry today. Yoohyeon didn't know why. So she just waited until 11:00 where JiU will be slightly less annoyed. When Yoohyeon arrived at the truck, she saw a black haired leaning on the truck.

" Gayheon ? "

" It's JiU. "

" YOU DYED YOUR HAIR ? "

" Yeah, I needed a new hair colour, so I just went with black. Basic and simple. "

" Where's Gahyeon. "

" She had indigestion so she couldn't come. "

" Oh man... hope she feels better soon. "

" She's resting in her room, she says to bring back some ice cream. "
