Chapter 17

D-day arrived and everyone was preparing themselves. Yoohyeon was nervous, she had a few things to do today, beat the Bombers, confess to JiU, and leave. Yoohyeon was sad as she dreaded this day, however she knew she had to. Yoohyeon was then called to JiU's room. Yoohyeon knew the standard procedures. While JiU undressed, leaving her with her underwear, she had to get JiU's uniform and give it to her. She helps her suit up by pulling up the back zip and putting her mask on for her. She also ties her hair up. However this time, yet again she found herself staring at JiU's body.

JiU playfully put her finger under Yoohyeon's chin and pulled her out of the chair.

" Don't stare if not, you will end up falling for me. "

" What if I already have ? "

JiU turned around, back facing her.

" Well I don't, quit joking, quickly put on your uniform."

Yoohyeon was upset, she wasn't expecting JiU to respond this way. She turned JiU around, pushing her towards the wall, slamming her fist on the wall, both hands trapping JiU as she took advantage of her height.

" Do you think I'm joking ? I really like you JiU, every single day with you has brought me nothing but happiness. "

" Well, I can't love you and you know that. "

" Why ? "

" Because. "

" Because ? "

" I have no time for that. "

" What ? Love ? "

" Yes. "

" You will regret this. "

" I'm JiU, I regret nothing. "

" Even after everything we've been through ? "

" Don't sound as if we were ever together. I don't like you that way. I can't accept your feelings for me. "

" Do you perhaps have feelings for someone else then ? "

" No, like I said I don't have the time. "

" Love doesn't require time, it just requires effort, if you are willing to put in. "

" When what ? "

" When did you start liking me ? "

" Since you took me in. "

" You're foolish. Now I know, everything makes sense now, no wonder you treat me this well. "

" I'm not foolish. You are for not seeing that someone actually cares for you but you're just rejecting them because you're scared. "

" Pft, keep thinking this way. I have no time to deal with this, we shall talk when this is all over. "

" Just so you know, I don't regret anything with you, I only regret this moment. I'm taking my leave now. "

Yoohyeon walked out, her tears betrayed her as streams of tears rolled down her smooth pale cheeks. She walked to Lia's room where Lua, Lucy, Lia and Yuna were there. Lia noticed the older one crying.

" Unnie, come here. "

" She doesn't feel the same. "

" I'm sorry. "

Yoohyeon cried, she knew this was going to happen, rejection. She thought all of JiU's actions portrayed her love for her but no, it was a lie that she kept living in.
