Chapter 26

After Yoohyeon knocked off from work, she went back to the apartment to wash up before going out with JiU. For the first time, JiU was holding her hand and not the other way around.

" You look better. "

" I don't just look better, I feel better. "

" That's great. I guess asking Lucy and Lua to come was a good thing. "

" Nah, we didn't do much today. "

" Oh, okay. So where are we going ? "

" You'll see. "

They went to a residential corner where there were many function rooms. JiU looked at every door which had an allocation of what the room's were holding. She finally found it, the music room for children. She turned the door knob and sat at the back of the room together with Yoohyeon, trying as hard as they can not to disturb the on going lessons. There were some parents there so it was kind of awkward. Yoohyeon was confused as ever. Whispering to JiU,

" What are we doing here ? "

" I want to see how they run lessons. "

" Okay, and then what ? "

" I might plan to get a job here. "

" For real ? "

" Yeah. But I'm just considering. "

" Okay. "

Just then, they were interrupted by a little kid who ran to JiU.

" Unnie, do you want to play ? "

" What ?!?! Me ? "

" Yeah. "

" Er, sure. "

JiU was slightly embarrassed as this was a course for kids, and she didn't go there to learn, or be taught she went there just to see how things are like. Then the instructor came to JiU, slightly embarrassed,

" I'm so sorry, the kids don't know what they are doing. "

" It's fine, I will just have a shot at it. "

" By the way, I'm Siyeon. "

" Nice to meet you, I'm JiU. Can I borrow the piano for a while ? "

" Sure, absolutely. You know, you don't have to do this. "

" Mhmm, but I want to put a smile on that kid's face. "

JiU walked confidently to the piano, she took a deep breath before her hands touched the keyboard. She started warming up by playing a scale, running her fingers down the unfamiliar keys but slowly got used to it. Soon, she started singing together with the piano melody.
