Chapter 28

JiU had already bought the warehouse and in an hours time, thanks to Lua and Gahyeon, everyone was moving in to the new warehouse which was bigger than the previous one.

" Yoohyeon, have you contacted Siyeon ? "

" Yup, she is on her way. "

Then Lucy asked,

" How about the government officials, did you talk to them ? "

Two days ago, Yoohyeon went to find the government official, the one that Yeeun, her CEO introduced her to. Yoohyeon was nervous as she was alone as JiU had business to take care of. She took a cab down to the government building. She was in awe when she saw the building. She walked in and a clerk asked for her particulars, then proceeded to guide her to the level the meeting was on. Her palms were getting sweaty as she took a step closer to the meeting room. Then the lift stop, however it wasn't at her level. Many people flooded the lift. However, one person in particular, someone wearing a cap caught Yoohyeon's attention. But again, she didn't pay too much attention to the person, yet there was this intriguing smell in the lift that she had no doubt recognising. Yoohyeon thought to herself,

No way, I must be dreaming, she has classes today.

Yoohyeon got out of the packed like sardines lift, squeezing her way out slowly. The clerk pointed to her the room that the meeting will be held. Yoohyeon's chest was pounding, everyone was depending on her and if she failed to convince them, the music group will still be suffering and JiU's dream, the one thing she took so long to build, her pride and joy, would have to disband and JiU will be walloped in devastation, wretched in her own failure which Yoohyeon caused and she didn't want to see JiU like that. She took a deep breath before she knocked on the door. However, the familiar scent came back, enticing her as she had that same tingling feeling when she first fell in love, stopped her movements, literally. Someone's hand prevented her from knocking and she immediately recognised that soft and smooth, soft like marshmallow hands that stopped her.

" What are you doing here ?!?! You said you had classes ? "

" I came here to support you, you must be really nervous with the huge burden I have entrusted you with especially since I can tell by your pulse and your hands. "

Yoohyeon retracted her hands as she was embarrassed at JiU's comments. Her hands were quite sweaty but JiU didn't let her. She held her hands even tighter.

" You got this, I believe in you, I will help you when needed. "

Yoohyeon was really thankful for JiU at that moment as she knew she couldn't do it alone. She took a deep breath before knocking on the door. A formally dressed woman opened the door as she told the both of them to sit down.

" My name is Sua, the government official in charge of non profitable organisations. How may I help you ? "

" Good morning Miss Sua, I am Yoohyeon and this is my boss, JiU. I'm honoured to have meet you again to discuss on our upcoming plans with the children attending Happyface music school and their orphanage in the west. "

" Go on. "

" JiU has a lot of manpower to take care of the kids and less unfortunate. They have been trained in stealth and martial arts to protect the kids. However, we don't wish to steal any money to support ourselves and the kids so we are proposing that the government can help us and provide with funds as with help the kids there. "

" And how will this benefit you ? "

Yoohyeon was slightly shocked at the question, however JiU proceeded to answer the question.

" It makes us happy. I'm not saying this to convince you, but it's just truly how we felt while helping out at Happyface music school. The smiles I see when someone was there to bring them joy is priceless. As an orphan, I wish to bring a good future to the kids. "

" Hm, your plans for now are vague, so I might have to reconsider. "

Yoohyeon gave Sua a file which contained all the needed information the government official would need. After glancing through the plans, Sua nodded and shook her hand.

" I will have someone bring you the official document after the prime minister has give the okay sign. You young people, I thought your hearts are small, but it surprises me everyday. "

Yoohyeon smiled and excused herself with JiU. They knew they had secured a deal.

Back to reality, JiU, was slightly nervous. She know the changes might disappoint some people and eventually, some might even leave, but she know that this will be for a good cause, to her and Happyface. By now, everyone has shifted their unpacked boxes to the room. JiU asked everyone to gather.

" Hi everyone, I know it's quite shocking for me to be standing here when I have been missing for almost 2 months ? So, as the last time being a chief, I shall explain to you some new things. Firstly, we are no longer called the Nightmares, we are establishing ourselves and have rename ourselves as Dreamcatchers. For a long time, we have been stealing money for our own good. After some reflecting and realisation, I have come to a conclusion that I no longer want to go down this path, so we have come up with an idea to help those unfortunate people with the help of the government. All those who wish to stay and help, may stay and those who wish to leave, it's been a good journey with you all. Those who stay, you will be called in by Lua to the meeting room, your roles will be decided there. Gahyeon, please step forward. "

Gahyeon walked to JiU as JiU passed a dagger to her.

" This is a representation of me stepping down as chief as you Gahyeon, will take the renamed role as Chief Director. "

Gahyeon was shocked. She whispered to JiU,

" I can't take this role, it's too much. You started this. "

" And I have to let the new generation rise. I know you're scared to make mistakes, but that's what makes you a better leader. I will still be around as your mentor and a team member in some other teams, so fret not. "

" I can't chief, I'm not you. "

" I know, and inside you, there's so much of goodness inside that cold heart. You will do just fine. "

Gahyeon looked at Yoohyeon, then back at JiU and smiled.

" I guess the Dreamcatchers are under me now. "

" We're counting on you. "

Then someone in the crowd shouted,

" I want to leave. "

Gahyeon's smile was instantly wiped away. However JiU stepped in before Gahyeon could say anything.

" Then feel free, those who are like her, please leave as well now or forever hold your peace. "

A few left, however some went to Gahyeon and congratulated her, and some apologised to JiU. However JiU smiled and told them,

" There is a season for everything. I believe your season is over. Don't be foolish, lead your life meaningfully. "

Yoohyeon watched the current chief and the ex chief, boy, this was a hell of a ride. She knew, this was something worth it.
