Chapter 16

One week left for the Nightmares to get ready. JiU is training as hard as ever, evidently. She was wearing a sports bra that revealed her toner abs, drips of perspiration trickling down her face as she sparred with Yoohyeon. Yoohyeon was feeling nervous as this was their first time fighting another gang. All they ever trained for was to defend themselves from perverts, policemen and smaller groups who they had a higher chance of running into.

Yoohyeon was reflecting over the pass few weeks. There were times where thrashing out her feelings with JiU was fun, but there were other times when she couldn't stand JiU's sudden madness and craving for revenge. She never saw JiU like this. She turned into a monster and Yoohyeon never knew why. She wasn't in the slightest right frame of mind and Yoohyeon worried a lot about the older one. She knew that falling in love with JiU at 15 wasn't a bad thing. Now that shes's 22, she knew that it was toxic to keep keeping her feelings inside.

When Yoohyeon walked into the training hall to only see JiU training by herself, she took the bottle of water she brought and offered it to JiU who immediately stopped training.

" Why do you keep training alone ? "

" I don't know, it's easier to release my frustration here than on you guys. "

" Can I take you somewhere today ? "

" Erm, okay, let me bathe first ? "

" Alright, I will be waiting. " 

JiU wasn't having the best week, her hallucinations started becoming worse, she could barely even sleep because her nightmares keep sufficing, she couldn't sleep a wink. Her "brother" would taunt her during her training, reminding her of her mistake. JiU had the perfect family until she made a mistake which caused her family's death. Her family was undergoing a financial crisis and she wanted to take a part time job. Well, it just didn't go as expected. She was left alone and now she blamed herself, like it wasn't enough, her "brother " would haunt her.

When she went to the car, Yoohyeon could immediately smell JiU's shampoo, a mix of rose and a mix of strawberry. JiU's hair fell perfectly on her shoulder's and her hair was literally shining with her blonde hair. Her eyes sparkled upon the street lights reflection. Yoohyeon felt like she was falling in love all over again. JiU was just simply breathtaking.

" What ? Something on my face ? "

" Yeah. "

" What ? "

" Beauty written over. "

" Sweet talker. Where are you taking me ? "

" A place. "

" Real funny. "

" Okay a few places. "

" Don't. "

" HAHAHA I'm kidding, loosen up a bit. "

Yoohyeon drove the car on an empty street as she steered the wheel with one hand and the other hand was on the window. Once in a while she peeked at JiU who fell asleep looking at the road.

" We're here Pink Princess. "

" Ew, that was one time. "

" Okay but let's go. "

Yoohyeon held hands with JiU, it was like they were meant to be, Yoohyeon's fit perfectly in JiU's and somehow JiU's hand gave Yoohyeon a sense of security. They took a sit in a cafe that Yoohyeon recently found.

" Woah, what's with the fancy ambience ? "

" I wanted to treat you, I wanted to bring you somewhere away from that training place. "
