JOHN'S POV ~

John made his way back to his old bedroom he once cherished coming home to after school.
He kicked off his shoes, deciding he'd head back to Kazuya and the others soon. The young priest closed his eyes and allowed himself to fall back onto the familiar bed. It was so untouched.
No-one had slept in it for a few years. It brought back so many memories this bedroom, but those warm thoughts vanished as quickly as they came.

Today, in the field. What happened? He could have sworn: not that he would. That there was a girl...
Alone.
Sad.
And she knew his name, was it someone of importance to John. His mind couldn't seem to surface any association whatsoever. Who was she?
John squeezed his eyes shut, and than she'd disappeared. How?
So many thoughts were clouding his mind. And than another: on so many occasions he had encountered spirits during SPR's cases but never had it reported it.
Why was he was so secretive about it, he didn't know.
John felt that telling the others might result in his removal, perhaps they wouldn't take it seriously. But they all had a pretty open mind to what was beyond everyday life.

John sighed and turned over onto his side, greeting the more comfortable position, he closed his eyes. He was so tired, the hot weather really took it out of you.
He grew tireder and tireder, soon falling asleep at the sound of the gently breeze rustling through the leaves of the tree just outside his bedroom window.

LIN'S POV ~

"Kazuya, I believe we have some odd readings coming up on the thermometer." Lin informed, taking a sip from his mug, coffee. Wasn't something he'd drink often. But Mrs. Brown made it well, it wasn't too strong or weak.

He stared blankly at the computer screen for a moment, but hadn't received any kind of response from Kazuya yet, he lifted his head to look over the monitor at his boss and furrowed his brow, "Kazuya!" He growled more firmly.

Kazuya turned around from his endless staring out the window, "yes, sorry. I was caught up in thoughts." He would excuse himself.
Lin nodded, he would often tell himself he was used to the teens moments where he seemed to be in another dimension.

"The readings aren't how they should be."

"How so?" Kazuya questioned, folding his arms and wondering over to the monitor too settle his gaze on the rapid changes in the readings. The peaks were just so far out of order, usually the readings would be normal on their first day.

Kazuya brushed a stray lock of dark hair out of his emotionless eyes and looked at the odd readings a little longer, but there was no opinon.
"What do you propose we do?" Lin asked, but again it was awhile before he got any sort of reply. Kazuya seemed far too deep in thought about the situation.

"Take a picture of every corner in the house just using your cell phone Lin and then bring it back to me." Kazuya said, finally breaking the piercing silence in the room.

"Alright. And the purpose of it is?" Lin then questioned, rummaging around in the pockets of his slacks for his phone.

"I believe that there is rapid movement of spirits in this house, however what kinds of spirits I'm unsure, by taking photo's of the corners were likely to catch something, especially on camera's that are cheaper than our own." Kazuya explained, taking a seat and picking up one of his many books he'd placed on the desk provided in the room.

"Corners? How do corners give us more of a chance at catching something on a cheap camera?" He asked.

"Children like to play games, Lin. No more questions for now. If nothing shows up. Then we'll come up with something more effective. I'll keep an eye on the readings whilst you do this."
Lin paused and looked at him, children like to play games? He wondered. The room fell into silence again.
"Alright than." Lin simply agreed, getting to his feet and exiting the room.
