KAZUYA'S POV ~

A week had passed, on Wednesday night the humming as told would happen, did, everyone would freeze, the aura of the room had originally been so cheery and happy, everyone enjoying their dinner. But unfortunately... That had completely fallen into darkness when the humming emerged, filling the room with a cold chilling sensation.

Kazuya had immediately abandoned his seat and raced upstairs, everything was going absolutely haywire, Lin wasn't far behind him. The readings were rising to their peaks. He made his way across the room and switched the monitor to view the camera's set up in the church.

Nothing... Nothing...

JOHN'S POV ~

The humming sound had soon ceased, they all sat at the dinner table silently.
"Will any of this ever stop?" John looked up too the owner of the question, his grandmother. He didn't know what too say... The rest of his family seemed to have the same question in mind. But Cody, he didn't seem at all impressed.

"You know what?" Cody growled, looking at his little brother. "None of this stuff happens when you aren't here John!"

John was taken aback, why was his brother angry with him? Cody was always the type to angered quickly about things, but no once had he ever been subject to it or the reason for that matter.
"Cody..." He murmured.

"Don't you dare start with nonsense Cody." Mrs. Brown scolded, "John is our family, and not at all the blame for any of this." The elderly lady rose from her seat and began taking the plates to the kitchen with a frustrated pout.
Alot of the family also around the table assisting her.

"You say none of this happens when John isn't here?"
John turned around to Kazuya walking down the stairs with Lin following behind him, "Lin." He instructed.

Lin took the cell phone from his pocket and once again, took a photo of the confused boy still sitting at the dinner table. Finally, a result, in the picture showed a young girl with Brown curly hair comfortable leaning against the back of John's seat, she appeared as though she'd been dragged out of a river.
She had dark circles under her eyes and her skin was icy pale, the only look you'd achieve if someone had been hiking in the cold mountains without a jacket. Kazuya settled his dark blue eyes onto the exorcist.

"Well then John... You're what's harboring the activity in his house. So tell me, why didn't you ever report any other incidents occurring in the house besides what the rest of your family experienced. Is it because you're hiding something?" Kazuya questioned, folding his arms. His full attention on John.

John stared for a moment, unsure of what to reply with. "No I... Just..." He soon found himself rising from his seat and walking out of the room before he finished the sentence, his arms binding themselves around his chest for some sense of comfort.
He stepped into the night air outside and sat on the front step.

"Well done Naru! You're such a jerk." He heard Mei snap at her boss, he didn't want to cause arguing or be the reason for anyone feeling upset.

TAKIGAWA'S (MONK) POV ~

Monk folded his arms and looked at Kazuya, "could you have been less harsh man?" He asked Kazuya, but he didn't get any reply at all from him.

"Cody, perhaps you'll come and talk to Lin and myself upstairs?" Kazuya asked. Cody hesitated for a moment but agreed, following the two out of the room.

"Naru is such a jerk." Mei growled, Monk looked over too her. Nodding, he had to admit. He could be a real idiot sometimes.
"I'm gonna go and talk to John." He informed the rest of the team before getting to his feet, being sure to tuck his chair under the table before walking outside.

"John?" He called, noticing he wasn't there...

"I swear he came out here." Monk thought aloud, stepping onto the veranda, scanning the area for any sign of him. But he was gone. Scratching the back of his neck he began to wonder around the house, but it proved futile, John wasn't anywhere near the house that he knew of.

Was John really hiding something? That didn't at all seem like something he'd do. John had always seemed the honest type of person, such an innocent soul.
But then the Monk began to think more indepthly about it, John hadn't really been victim to anything emotional like this during their previous cases, he'd never been the centre of anything, he'd only been there to do his bit for the team.

Monk headed towards the fields where the apple tree's grew in rows, a cold breeze drifting past him. How did it just get so cold all of a sudden? Maybe it was just a thing here, the nights were cold.

"John?" Monk would call, several times he called and awaited a reply, but nothing came. No one heard him. He was alone here.

Even when they'd had the case at the church, John had tolerated all the annoying little kids persistent need to play games and be entertained, and John had obliged happily. It was like nothing could possibly sever his happiness. But when it came to family situations, when Cody had accused him, something about John's aura completely changed, and Monk noticed it.

But when Kazuya had then accused him of keeping vital information a secret, it snapped. John couldn't handle it. But unlike most people he didn't get angered by it, instead he'd become nervous and left the room before things could escalate.

"God John, where are you?" Monk called, for an exorcist, he sure was alot like a child who had been slapped really hard.

Monk trudged on through the fields, searching every row for his friend. But he soon felt the sensation of small cold droplets, hitting the back of his neck and beginning to spot the ground. He stopped to look up at the sky.

"Don't rain now..." Monk complained.
