TAKIGAWA'S (MONK) POV ~

Monk raced back, the rope clasped tightly in hand. He could hear Mei's screaming from the house. It wasn't long before he was accompanied by Lin, Kazuya and Ayako. All following behind. The whole team was there now, they'd be able to get John out. Unless Mei's screams meant otherwise.

"Mei! What's going on?" Kazuya said through heavy breaths. His voice slightly unsteady. He obviously wasn't used too running so often.

"The platform John was broke, he's fallen!" Mei cried, Monk noticed her eyes filled with tears as he came to halt. He had no clue what too say.
"I... Is he replying?" Monk stammered.
"No... He hasn't said a single thing since he fell, but there was a loud splash." Masako explained hurriedly.

Monk felt someone push passed him, Cody? He looked at the older blonde male.
"Hey man, slow down!" Monk said, having an uneasy feeling about the ground now, it could possibly sink.

"John is down there?" Cody asked.

"Yes. I think we need to call the emergency services." Monk said, his heart beat increasing by the second with panic, John wasn't replying. It was dark and there was a possibility he'd been knocked out on the way down and drowned.

Cody shrugged his jacket off and threw it aside, "like heck I'm staying up here than!" Cody growled, before anyone had the chance too say something, or gather what was happening. John's older brother had dived head-first after his little brother.

"If I'm not mistaking... This used to be a well." Kazuya said, leaving everyone with panicked expressions, besides Lin of course. Wondering what his point was.

JOHN'S POV ~

It was so cold, so cold he could barely move an inch, or half an inch for that matter. He felt as though his skin would freeze over and begin to crumble. And what's more he couldn't see a single thing. Not a single thing.

When he opened his eyes, he could hear voices from above him. Mei and Masako. But he couldn't make out what they were saying. It was like trying too listen through a wall. He parted his lips to attempt to cry out for them, but no sound came out. Nothing at all.

His breathing became unsteady at the thoughts seeping into mind, would they ever get him out of here. Did they think he'd died, like her? Like Tammy...

Tammy... It hurt, his blue eyes began to tear, slowly he sat up on the cold harsh cement. He was at another platform, out of the water. This must have been where the well opened up too hold more water.

He shifted uncomfortably. But cried out at the shocking pain rushing through his broken arm. He collapsed back down, tears leaking over his cold skin, John bit his lip. Trying to suppress his emotional state.

Slowly, that sensation of a hand touching his ankle again appeared, he shivered. But soon realized that was the wrong reaction. The touch was warm and soothing. Slowly, the warmth crept up his body. As if a blanket were being pulled over him.

"John... You've grown up so much, you've grown so much you forgot about me."

John's heart skipped a beat, he quickly, although it hurt like hell sat up. Sure enough at the end of his feet. In the darkness was the only glowing source, and who he immediately recognized as a girl, frozen in age and appearance. Tammy.

"You remember me now John, because you're laying at the bottom of the well I died in. All those years ago." The spirit of Tammy informed, her voice was quiet and peaceful.

"W... Why are you haunting my family?" He asked, his voice shaking.

"Haunting them. I was looking for you, but you were never home so I kept coming back." Tammy replied, her aura beginning to darken with misery.
"I"ve been down here for so long... I'd sit and watch the church ceremonies like we used too, but you never came to them anymore. I searched the house, I searched the grounds, but you never showed up. So I waited for the day I could bring you too me. And here you are." She said, but it made John sick. She didn't expect him to stay here.

"Listen... You need to pass on. Your body is gone, you belong in heaven." John said, trying to sound as collected as possible. Holding his arm to his chest to support it.

"I could pass on, but I want too take you with me." Tammy said, John gulped and shifted uncomfortably again. Just managing to sit with his legs crossed, the pain in his arm becoming more intense. It needed treatment and soon.

"I can't go with you Tammy... I'm still alive." John said, but his confidence dropped when he saw her smile.

"No dummy, you're dead. But it's okay, I'm sure you'll learn too live with the pain in your arm. I broke my leg when I fell down here." Tammy said, pointing her finger over too a body laying on the ground, turned on it's side.

John felt as though his heart had stopped, that was his body... It was him, but he was here. Quickly and painfully John raced to himself. The side of his head was bleeding, badly.

"T...This is impossible." John wheezed. Shaking his head, he couldn't accept this. It wasn't happening. There was no way it was happening. He whirled around quickly when hearing the sound of something heavy hitting the water.

"John!"

Cody... How did he survive that fall, John had to admit his older brother had always been sporty, strong and athletic. But really.
John crawled towards his brother, but Cody climbed onto the cement and went straight past him too his body. So it was true. He was dead.

"No... Cody I'm here!" John yelled, trying to crawl too him. Now he understood why Tammy was able to communicate with him, he was a spirit himself.

Cody soon came too the realization that his brother wasn't breathing and immediately began CPR, John's spirit form immediately began too feel a haziness. His vision starting too blur. But he felt Tammy take hold of his wrist.

"John, you're brother is trying to save you... If I take your soul now, you won't go back." Tammy said, hugging his arm.

John looked back at her, she was beginning to double. "Uuh... Tammy, I need to stay alive. It's not my time. And you need to pass over." John said. Letting out a pained grunt when his arm moved.

"I know..." Tammy embraced her friend, her body beginning to glow more vividly, "I'll miss you. John." She said.

John's eyes widened slightly, once again tears emerged. But with his healthy arm. He hugged the childhood friend. "Yeah, I'm gonna miss you too." John said, "You're in gods hands now, wait for me in heaven."

"I will..."

John was soon swallowed by darkness again, he saw Tammy's face for the last time. And now, he was able to take back what he said all those years ago. She could live happily in peace.
Everything, was going to be okay now.
