5 years, that's how long Sabrina and Jackson have known each other. 3 years Jackson has been in silently falling deeper and deeper in love with Sabrina. Jackson never meant to have these feelings for her, he tried everything to avoid them, dating other girls, distancing himself- which only lasted for about a week.- he even pushed her to go on dates with many different boys, setting her up on blind dates where she only met asshole jocks that were never good enough for her.
Jackson couldn't hide his feelings for her, he's been holding them in for 3 years now, It's been eating him alive, every night he spends the night at her house and she falls asleep with her head on his lap when they were suppose to be watching a movie, Or when she comes over un-announced and just makes herself at home. Every time she did anything, looked at Jackson, smiled at him even breathed next to him, it became harder and harder to hold back the urge to blurt out his feelings. It's been 3 years, he waited 3 years to tell her, the day they graduate high school, is when he decided to tell her.
He was nervous, scared for their friendship, scared that he'd lose her altogether when he finally tells her what he's been keeping from her for 3 years.
He paced back in forth in the boys bathroom thinking of the perfect way to tell her, each time shaking his head as that was too cringey or too weird. Jackson has never been a feelings type of guy but he did always say what was on his mind regardless of if it sounded mean or rude. Soon after thinking about how to tell her he realized there was no perfect way to tell her, he just had to say it, get it off his chest.
As the bell rang for everyone to get ready for graduation he made his way outside where they were holding there graduation. He sat next to his friend, Carter, the only one that knew of Jackson's love for Sabrina although Jackson never told him he just knew Jackson so well that he could tell.
"Today is the big day huh." Carter says leaning over into Jackson's eyes sight where he could see the light smirk on Carters face. "Some of us didn't think you'd make it to this day Carter, but I'm proud of my little delinquent graduating high school" Jackson says straightening Carter's hat.
"No idiot, the day you tell Sabrina your true lovey dovey feelings." He says putting his hat back the way he had it before. Jackson rolled his eyes not answering as the ceremony began.
Once Jackson name was called he went up the stage and immediealy heard his mom yell out his name along with his litter sister Izzie, but the voice that stood out the most was Sabrina's she was sitting right in the front, her blonde hair bone straight, she smiled clapping her hands and holding her hands in a little heart before giving Jackson a thumbs up.
A smile that made his heart race as he went to sit back down, cheering loudly for Sabrina, same as she did for him. After everyone's name was called the speech was given hats were thrown in the air and the teenage graduates cheered themselves on along with the parents and faculty.
