The feeling of rusted metal beneath the tip of her finger brings strength to the stoic resolve of Eden Abren, the path of her chain leading her hand to the locket dangling on the end of it. Looking over her shoulder to ensure none are near, the idea of opening it crosses her mind, but she hastily discards it. Not only for she was tasked with meeting a stranger who, supposedly, has a job for her, but as the last time she had gazed open the picture that lies within was on her home planet.

Shoving the necklace back beneath the collar of her shirt, ensuring no prying eyes will look upon such a precious item, Eden turns to face the towering door before her once again. She'd journeyed into the outskirts of the town, following a lead Greef had informed her of, after she'd expressed her dissatisfaction with the way he'd given away all the well-paying jobs to another bounty hunter, leaving her with practically nothing. Though a little off-put from the job, due to its unusually discrete nature, she did not see too much risk in investigating what it's about. If the worst-case scenario befell her, she knew she can fight her way out.

Pounding upon the door's rusted exterior, an opening in the wall beside her forms. From it emerges a ball-shaped droid, with a camera attached to the end of it. Though it speaks a language she does not know, she'd been instructed by Greef on what to do. Taking the chip she'd been given between two fingers, Eden holds it up for the camera to see. It observes it for a few moments, before speaking it's odd language once more. It retracts back into the wall, the door before Eden opening as it does.

Taking only a singular step past the threshold of the door, it slams shut behind her, locking her in with whatever, or whoever awaits her. Eden halts amid her step, her hand instinctively darting down to the blaster strapped upon her waist. She does not dare grab it, waiting to see if someone will make the mistake of attacking her first. No one does. Though, this does not prevent her gaze from observing every inch of the darkness, expecting something to jump out from beneath its veils.

Cation held within her every step, Eden meanders cautiously toward the door on the opposite end of the hallway, her hand unmoving from it's hovering position above her blaster. A quiet beep pierced through the eerie silence that'd settled within the hallway, the door unlocking upon Eden's approach. Her heartbeat echoes within her ears as it the entryway slides open at a painfully slow rate, anticipation threatening to swallow her whole as she awaits what lies on the other side.

A glisten of hatred burns bright within the darkly coloured eyes of Eden as she observes the four figures before her, her jaw clenching with a vice-like strength. Her hands ball up into fists, and every ounce of self-control within her body being thrust toward trying not to reach for her blaster and shoot every single person within that room. She regards each figure before her with nothing but rage and utter disgust, holding little respect for the people who stole everything from her.
