Dear Lisa,
I love you. Sure it's very blunt straight to the point, but I believe it. You believe it. Also, I felt like I needed to say it. Don't you deserve that?
Anyways, Tom's ankle is feeling a little bit better. I can't really remember how long it's been, but hey. I guess I'm getting old? Nah, probably not. I can't be getting old if I still look this good... right? You'd agree with me, I know.
I got out of the hospital yesterday. Well, for a little bit - but it sure does feel nice! Grace and Tom got back from your parents house this morning, and they were so happy to see me. It was adorable. Grace was telling me all about her day at school at dinner. She learned some new words, and her teacher told me she's really improving at her writing. At recess she did fall off of the playground, but she seemed all right.
Do you remember our first kiss? I do. Like it was yesterday. If you could remember it, I know that you would. It was the perfect moment, too. I think about it a lot. I think about you a lot. Do you mind that my letters are getting shorter? Or do you like it better that they are because you don't have time to read them anyways? I also think it's better that they don't get put in the mail. If they did, then I wouldn't trust that they would make it to you. Hand delivery is so much better, hm?
Work's been great. It really has. I think I've exhibited eight new pieces? Five of them were portraits of you. And no, I didn't need to look at old pictures or anything like that. As I get older, I may lose a lot of my memory, but one thing I'll always remember is your face. The curves of your cheeks, the blue sparkle in your eyes. Your full, long eyelashes, and ever your small little nose. At least, as I grow older, I'll always remember the most beautiful face I've ever seen. And that'll never change.
Lots of love,
Liam xoxo
