Dear Lisa,

Hey there. My last letter was four days ago. Sorry, I've been trying to keep on top of things. I guess that hasn't been working lately. As you know, it's July, so the wheather's been pretty warm. I've been taking Grace and Tom to the water park and beach a lot lately, but they don't seem to want to make friends. They usually just keep to themselves.

Grace turned five today! We had pink frosted cake, and a fairy-themed party. It was just the me, the kids and your parents. Kind of lonely without you around, but you'll be here for her sixth birthday. Maybe even for Tom's eight birthday in January!

Ah, January. It reminds me of how we met; it was a snowy evening, around four o'clock. I was trotting through town with my hands in my pockets. It was a particularly cold day, I wasn't quite sure why I was walking through town. Anyways, I guess that was when I realized just how cold it really was. I was on Maine street, you know, where my favourite little coffee shop is. Bean Town.

I walked in and I saw the most suprising thing, and I immediatley loved Bean Town more than ever. I saw the most beautiful woman I had ever seen; why couldn't they let you work behind the counter everyday?

So, being the overly-confident loser that I was, I walked up to you and ordered a Non-Fat Chai Latte. My favourite. Then you smiled and said, 'No way! That's my favourite!' I tried to act cool, but I'm sure I looked like a mess. You made me act like a goof, with your gorgeous smile and amazing eyes. Sure enough though, you got me my Latte and we chatted on your break.

Now we're where we are now. Lisa, I love you. And I know I didn't tell you that as often as I should have, so I'm sorry. Again. Even in my letters I act like a goof, huh?

Lots of love,

Liam xoxo
