Dear Lisa,
How are you? I bet it must be pretty fun over there, huh? Sure, but probably not as fun as when we went to the Fall Fair together. We shared mini donuts, cotton candy, and even went on the Zipper - which was surprising, since it went upside-down and you weren't into that. I do remember what happened with that though, and it was pretty cute.
I ushered you towards the line-up. "I don't want to!" you complained.
"Why?" I put my arm around your waist and pulled you closer to me. You smiled up at me, but your eyes showed worry.
"Well... it looks... scary."
I laughed. "Don't worry! I've got you."
"I don't know..."
I let go of your waist and stood in front of you, my hands cupping your face. "Now Lisa, you listen to me; if I thought anything bad was going to happen to you on this ride, we wouldn't even be coming close to it. But I trust this ride, and believe me, I would never, ever, let anything happen to you. Not in a million years, all right? I love you."
After my big 'speech', a big smile appeared on your face and you agreed. You had told me that, from that moment on, you wouldn't be scared as long as we were together. I think that was one of the greatest things I had ever heard you say. I meant what I said though, Lisa; I love you. Always have, always will. No matter where life takes us.
Lots of love,
Liam xoxo
