5 days later......
It's been five days and Alex hasn't shown up for school.
He hasn't even replied to my texts.
Cole And Tessa said they remember being with him the day of Nelson's party. But they couldn't remember where he went.
It's like he disappeared.
I know the terrible three are behind this.
I can't confront them because, they all have been gone... I guess if it's one thing about the Legendhearts they aren't subtle about anything at all...
The only person who has shown up for school is Ariah. But I could never approach her because she'd leave almost abruptly.
Just as I walked down the hallway.
I noticed Ariah at her locker.
I immediately began walking towards her and I stopped in front of her locker.
"So... where's Alex?" I asked.
"...and why would I know or even care about where he is?" She asked.
"Because he's your brother!"
"No he isn't."
I rolled my eyes.
"Cut the bull shit, Ariah." I started. "I know you know where Alex is."
"Do you think I was born yesterday, I know that you don't like Alex, and I know that you and Eli already tried killing him... he told me everything."
She started looking around cautiously as if anyone here had heard me.
But she looked back at me with a smirk...
"He really has you wrapped around his finger doesn't he... it a shame actually..." she says. "You'd believe someone so untrustworthy."
"You try to kill him, fail, then all of a sudden, every single one of the Legendhearts are gone." I say. "Except you."
She focused her eyes away from me, probably not wanting to look me in the eyes.
"It doesn't take much to put two and two together." I say.
"Maybe he doesn't like you." She says. "Maybe he's avoiding you... maybe that's why you haven't seen him..."
"No I shook my head... I may have only known him for a month... but I know him better than you ever will." I say.
She sighed, and then stared off into space.
"It doesn't matter anymore?" She says, the mood swing giving me whiplash...
"What?" I start...
"It's too late... he's gone."
"Gone where." I say, my heart pounding out my chest.
My heart started to pound in my chest.
"Alex is dead." She said blankly.
