"Seriously." I say as I lay there on the gym floor. "You couldn't have went a little easy."
"Sorry, Princess." Jason says as he helps me up. "But I'm trying to let you learn, you can't keep taking the easy way out."
He's right, Eli and Ariah Showed no mercy on me that day.
If I'm going to learn, I'm going to learn the right way.
"Have you been studying the spells from your Grim..." He asked.
"Yes, which is very tiring..... by the way."
As intriguing as it is to learn about all this magic, it's getting old... cuz what good is all this knowledge if I can't do anything with it...
I've already come to the conclusion, that psychic magic is what comes to me naturally, When Eli and Ariah attacked me, my body protected itself by releasing a psionic blast...
"Close your eyes, and focus on collecting the psionic energy..." Jason says, pulling me from my thoughts.
I closed my eyes and did as he said..
I took a deep breath, and focused... but there was nothing to focus on... or maybe too much to focus on...
"I can't do it..." he says. "We're just going to try again tomorrow."
"It's okay." He nodded. "I know you'll get the hang of it, soon."
"Thanks." I say. "If it wasn't for you I'd probably be way behind in controlling my magic."
"It's nothing." He says.
"No seriously, if it weren't for you, I wouldn't know what to do." I say. "How can I repay you?"
"Alex, I said it's nothing."
He stepped closer to me, looking down into my soul, with his cool grey eyes.
"I'm helping you because I want to." He says. "I'm not looking for anything in return from you."
"But I want to pay you back." I grabbed his shoulder, and dragged my hand down to his wrist. "It's the least I can do."
He looked away for a bit smiling.
"Okay fine." He says, returning his gaze to mine. "You want to repay me?"
I simply nodded my head.
"Kiss me."
My face burned, at what he suggested.
"What?" I asked confused.
"Come on, princess." He moved closer to me, barely an inch of room left between us. "Give your Knight in shining armor, a nice peck on the lips."
My eyes moved from his, down to his plump lips.
"Fine." I say. "I'll kiss you."
He leaned in to me, our mouths getting closer by the second.
"Wait!" I pushed his face away.
I can't do this.
Not in the middle of the gym.
"Not here, You dumb ass." I say stepping away from him.
"What?" He smirked. "Afraid of a little PDA."
"Whatever." I rolled my eyes at his silly little smirk he always has on his face.
He grabbed my hand, and started pulling me away.
"Where are you taking me." I say trying to escape from his grip.
"Relax, Princess. I'm not kidnapping you."
