Chapter 44: Clair Senses

Jason's POV

"Jason, Stop!" She laughed, as I placed butterfly kisses down her neck.

"And what if I don't." I smirked down at her.

"Seriously." She smiled and pushed me off of her. "We're at school."

"So... who cares, Anna." I smiled and kissed her plump pink lips. "First period doesn't start for another 30 minutes."

"Are you serious, I am not doing it on a school desk in an abandoned classroom." She frowned. "I do have morals and standards you know."

I smiled. "Fine."

I placed a kiss on her forehead, then stood up.

"Well then, let's head off to class." I grabbed her hand and we made our way into the hallway.

As we walked down the halls I couldn't find Mikey or Alex anywhere. I think now is a good time to introduce Anna to them.

When we moved here I met Anna, we hit it off, and soon we caught feelings for each other.

It was like love at first sight.

I stared down into her green eyes, and ran my fingers through her dark brown hair.

Alex's POV

"And that's basically everything you need to know..." I finished explaining our situation, with Katie.

We both slumped down on the couch. We glanced at each other and we both burst into laughter.

"How did you even find me?" I asked.

"Locator spell...." he says.

"Mmm..." I hummed.

"I'm glad you're here......" I say. "This week hasn't been the best..... with you here it feels a little better."

"Awwweee, tell your big brother what's wrong." He says, making a fake baby accent.

I rolled my eyes.

"It's Jason...." I started. "We kinda ended things.... even though we weren't together, it still hurt."

"I feel like, we didn't even have anything you know.... I feel like it was all in my head."

"Hey..... don't take it too hard....." he says. "Because, Jason missed out on a fabulous person."

"Anyone would be lucky to have you." He says.

I smiled.

"Thanks..."

"For what?"

"Everything....." I say. "For the way you've treated me, everything....."

"Because look at us now.... the perfect bond." I smiled at him. "It was all worth it, because in the end I got the brother I've always wished for."

He shook his head but smiled..

"Stop that right now..." He say. "Let's make a pact."

"A pact?"

"Yes." he says.

"Let's promise to never go back to the way things were.... let's keep the past in the past." He held out his pinky finger. "And let's promise to always be there for each other in the future."

I looked him in his eyes, to see if he was being serious.... he was.

I smiled.

I wrapped my pinky around his. "I promise."
