Ryan's POV
~~~~~~~~~Mom opened the door, and there stood our father......
.......
"I'd like you all to meet your brother...." Dad says.
I rolled my eyes..... As I saw the little boy.... this is the reason mom has been so sad.... he's the reason why my whole family fell apart....
I still remember watching my mother cry....
Eli and Jayla ran up to him....
Before Ariah ran up too, I grabbed her by her arm stopping her.....
She looked back up at me confused...
"What's wrong?" She asked...
"Everything." I say to the five year old...
She still looked confused...
"You see that little boy over there...." I say. "He's bad.."
Her eyes widened.
"He made mommy cry... and now mommy is unhappy."
"What? no mommy isn't..." she says.
"She is though." I smiled. "She Just doesn't want us to know... but I know."
"You can tell she isn't.... happy." I say. "You wanna know how?"
Ariah immediately nodded her head...
"I don't know if I should tell you tho..." I say. "You might tell someone... and we don't want mommy to know we know..."
"No!" She begged. "I won't tell anyone, I'm a big girl now! And big girls can keep secrets..."
I smiled knowing that I had her in the palm of my hands... like clay ready to be molded into anything I wanted her to be....
"Okay I'll tell you." I stooped down to her level... and started to speak to her a little quieter...
"There's a way to tell how stressed and pained a person is.... and it's by looking at their smile...." I explained the best way I could for her five year old mind to pick up on it... it's the way dad talked to me when he started teaching me magic..
"The smile mommy has shows all of her pain... even the look that her eyes hold can show it..." I say
"How will I know, if she's really hurt tho?" Ariah asked.
"Oh you'll know... if you look for it.." I say.
I stood up..... "I'm going to go to my room now...."
"When you see how hurt she truly is.. just know that Alex caused it." I told her. "After you've seen it, Come to my room.."
"We can make mommy happy, if we can get him to leave... and I know just how to do it." I say...
With that, I left and went up until my room......
*********
A few moments later, Ariah burst into my room tears streaming down her face...
I smirked... no not at my sister crying... but at the fact that my plan is now in motion....
"It's true, mommy is sad!" She cried. "She almost cried watching them play together."
