"Here's your order ma'am and sir," sabi ng waiter placing down our coffee on the table.

"Thanks, here's a tip," sabi ni Kurt giving the waiter a cash.

"Thanks bro," sabi niya taking the cash with a smile tapos umalis na.

I drink my warm coffee. Hmmm sarap. I've never tasted their Café coffee in so long.

"So... How have you been?" tanong niya sa akin tapos ininum niya coffee niya.

I put my coffee down and wrapped my hands around it for warmth. "Same pa din," I answered weakly looking at my coffee.

"That's... Good," sabi niya placing his coffee down the table.

Nasa outside si Rowly kase no pets allowed inside.

"Look Nadine. I just want --," he got caught off because his phone rang.

He took out his phone,"Hey Dad."

I look up at him. Dad niya. Wala siyang connection with his dad since he was two. His dad left him and his mom to be with another women. I don't really know the story kase I never bothered to ask and he never bothered to tell me.

"Okay. Okay. Dad, pupunta na ako jan," he said to his phone tapos he hang up.

Kurt tucked his phone in his pockets and looked at me with a smile. "Sorry Nadine ha pero si papa kase gusto mag meet up. I didn't tell you but my parents are back together."

"Ah okay lang and that's good. I think you should be with them. I should get going na rin," sabi ko standing up. I put my backpack on.

"Oh sige, hatid na kita," sabi niya.

"Hindi na Kurt, I'll just walk there. Malapit naman," sabi ko grabbing my coffee. Kurt stood up too grabbing his coffee.

"Ano kaba Nadine, just let me okay?" sabi niya giving that smile again.

Ugh!! I freakin hate that smile!

He looks like he felt sorry for me.

"Fine."

Kurt stopped the car in front of my house. I looked at him and smiled. "Salamat."

I almost got out from the car pero he stopped me by holding my arm. I look back at him suprise by his actions.

Pakshet! Ang puso ko! Hala!!

He let go of my hand nervously. Hindi ko nga alam kung bakit feeling niya nervous o awkward. As if he's afraid to touch me because I'm fragile.

"Wait. Gusto ko lang tanongin sayo kung pwede ba tayo mag dinner sa Saturday at seven. I have to go somewhere kase tomorrow so I'll be back on Saturday," siya.
