What are they doing here?

I quickly grab a newspaper from the bench seat and put it up in front of me so they'll think I'm reading or I'm not here.

"Nadine? Oh stop it, alam namin na ikaw yan. At sino ba naman nagbabasa ng upside down?" sabi ni Emerald.

I slowly put down the newspaper and gave a nervous smile. "H-Hey."

"Bakit ka nandito Juliet?" tanong ni James sa akin.

"You're asking me? Why are you guys here together anyways?" I snap at them.

They both looked confused when I did that gesture. I bit my lip. I shouldn't have snap at them like that.

"Sheesh, someone's jealous," muttered James.

"James, why don't you get us some.. Drinks," Emerald told him tapos he nodded.

Before he left, he looked at me then he smirked tapos umalis.

"So.. What's up? Where's Kale? Diba nandito siya with you? I saw you guys at the game area, you two looked like your having fun," Emerald.

"He went and got me food," ako. "Emerald. Can I ask you something?"

I sighed looking at my hands on my top of my lap. I feel soo... Nervous.

"A-Are you and James d-dating?" I stammered, fiddling with my fingers.

She looked at me blankly.
