2 years later..

I am cleaning my room. Ang gulo gulo kase!

I opened a drawer that I haven't opened for 2 years. 

There. It was laying there. All alone for 2 years.

Ang necklace na binigay saakin ni James. 

I remember that day. The day I got rejected pero okay lang. James was sooo sweet. That thought made me smile.

Kinuha ko ang necklace and look at it, admire the piece. It must cost a lot kase it's still shiny as ever.

I wonder kung ano kaya ang ginagawa niya ngayon. Does he still hate me?

"Ate! Ate! Anong gagawin mo para sa party namin?" tanong ng mga kapatid ko running towards me.

That made me jump in surprised and I quickly, as fast as I can, put the necklace back sa drawer and close it shut and turn aruond to face them.

"Oh ano ang theme na gusto niyo?" tanong ko, my heart beating faster. I tucked an hair piece behind my ear.

My brothers has a confused face on but quickly changed back to normal.

"Gusto namin fairy tale!" sabi ni Gordon with a bright smile.

"Yeah! Maybe like Romeo and Juliet!" sabi ni Percy nodding in agreement.

Romeo.. and Juliet.

James.

Two years with no connection. Two years since he left us. Two years since I've seen that gorgeous face of his.

I admit, nakakamiss talaga siya.

I hope he's happy there. Wherever he is exactly right now.

I was angry before kase nga he left me without paalam man lang. Alam ko hindi ako ang gf niya pero we've been friends. I think that's enough to prove that dapat nagpaalam siya saamin. Saakin.

Now that I think about it, wala din si Ashley. She's probably with him since they're dating and everything. Lucky them huh?

You must think all those 2 years, I should have moved on. Pero, it's hard. I tried. I think I made 0.01% progress.

"Ate? Nanjan ka ba? Heeelloooo? Ate?" tanong ng mga kapatid ko looking at me.

I snap out of my thoughts. "Oh. What were you saying?"

"Sabi namin gusto namin na fairy tale ang theme namin. Gusto namin parang Romeo and Juliet," sabi ni Gordon.

"Bakit gusto niyo naman yun?" tanong ko walking to a drawer.

"Kase ate, girls loves fairy tales. Ang dami kayang girls na pupunta sa birthday namin," sabi ni Percy.

"Hoy kayo ha! Girls, girls, girls kayo jan. Diba studies first?" sabi ko opening the drawer and taking out my sketchbook and pencil.

"Alam namin yun. Mas high pa nga ang grades namin ate kaysa sayo," sabi ni Gordon.

"Hoy, hindi ah. Onti lang naman," sabi ko and sat down.

"Diba ang ganda ng story ng Romeo and Juliet?" sabi ni Percy.

I sketched the theme. "Hmmm.. Yeah. I guess. But it does have a tragic ending. It depends on people's perspective on the story."
