Different consequences cause of love (A Foxodile/Hawkofox fanfic)

Crushing

A normal morning for the gang came and as usual,Richard's the one preparing breakfast,Unikitty singing some song about food and Puppycorn still sleeping on the breakfast table with their empty stomachs.
But Unikitty stopped after realizing something wrong then followed a question.

"Hey where's Dr.Fox?"

After hearing those words, Hawkodile felt a lifting spirit for him to wake up.

"Yeah where is she?! She's supposed to be making waffles!!!"

"Well,I'm sorry but I DO NOT KNOW how to use this appliance she built!" Richard replied to the complaining prince while looking at the advanced waffle maker the scientist invented.

"Well maybe...she's around somewhe-" Unikitty's words was cut off by something vibrating from her pocket, she grabbed it only to find out that it was her phone all along, she looked at the notification.

"It's a message from her!"

"Uh... from who ?"

"Oh yah dummy! DUH! it's from her! FROM DR.FOX! obviously!" Unikitty answered in a sassy tone while letting out a few sparkle matter.

"Well what did she say?" Hawkodile asked with curiosity,Unikitty looked at her phone again to see the message of her beloved red haired smart friend.

"She said to come to the lab!"

"Oh no you don't! We need to eat breakfast first! Remember! We ne-"

"Alright!.. Alright! Geez!"

After eating breakfast, the gang ran off to see their friend. While walking down the hallway,Richard signaled Hawkodile to have a little chat without the two trouble makers.

"So... what do you think?"

"O-of who? I mean WHAT!"

"What I meant to say is what do you think she'll show us now?"

"Hmm... I don't know, but all I know is 'everything she makes is cool and amazing as always"

"Well what do you think of HER?"Richard asked suspiciously knowing he would sweat and stammer.

"Oh! H-her?! W...well she's...ah...she's c-cool and um...Ok?"

"Do you really think she's just... OK?"

He kept on asking suspiciously, Hawkodile's suspecting Richard might, JUST might happen to be teasing him about his crush on their beloved best friend and he's worried SHE except the two siblings might hear it cause of Richard's tone and volume.

"Ye-YEAH! She's OK! Like you know...pret-I MEAN Great at... ma-making stuff, like... her...inventions."

"Hmmm...O...K..."Richard said while still looking at him with a smirk and walking backwards.

Hawkodile was scared and nervous at the same time.He was so nervous, he could feel his chest filled with sweat and his shirt had already absorbed the sweat, leaving a mark which everyone was able to notice.

Hawkodile asked his self a question:

"What if they tell it on everyone in the whole world!? Ok... a bit exaggerated but still, the idea... what if they accidentally mentioned it on Dr.Fox!? HMMM!!! Why did that stupid card have to talk! Oh wait! No! WHY DID I EVER BOUGHT THAT TALKING CARD!? OH YEAH! CAUSE IM TOO SCARED TO TELL HER ON MY OWN!!! UGH!!! I AM SO STUPID!!!"

These things haunted him, while the others noticed him shaking and obviously looking dreadful, scared and afraid, Dr.Fox looked at him worriedly, she walked towards him making the others except Hawkodile cause he's stuck inside his own head look at both of them with Aw especially Unikitty. She was fangirling so much while shaking her little brother really hard, Richard just gave Hawkodile a smirk.

Dr.Fox stopped then reached for his sweaty, shaking arm.

"Hawk... are you ok? For me, I think you're not cause...your temperature's rising and sweating too much..."

Then she reached for his hand, making the bodyguard blush so hard, sweat EVEN MORE, and to feel his skipping heartbeat.

"And your pulse rate is INCREASING! Ok everyone don't panic! But I think Hawkodile is SICK!"

After hearing those words Hawkodile screamed making the others uncomfortable.

"Doc... don't worry I'm not sick and I know it"

"No Hawkodile, it is official, you might have a Flu and it is based on your symptoms"

"Doc I can feel my own body and I can surely say that I am ok, Not sick! Just...um...tired"

"Are you even a certified doctor?"

"Uh...n-No?.."

"Exactly! And I'm the certified one here, so I can tell if one of you guys have something bad, Well actually not, Forgot I'm a doctor of science...well I tell you guys most of the times cause I studied a little bit of medicine, so I can still tell if one of you guys are sick and now... I am telling you that YOU are sick"

"Doc still...NO, I'm not sick"

"Are you... saying I'm... WRONG?"

She then chuckled sarcastically making the others feel awkward so Unikitty had no choice but to grab her brother and the caretaker away from the two.

"Ok! Uh...enough talk! The three of us would just leave oki? Um...uh...DOC! Incredible stuff you just asked us! Hawkodile...uh..."

Then she flew towards Hawkodile's ear then whispered,

"Don't...uh go too... far... if you know what I mean"

"Ok...ok I know, bye"

Then she immediately grabbed the two boys to leave Hawkodile and Dr.Fox alone... Once again the whole lab was covered with awkward silence and avoiding eye contacts.

"Ok... it's a bit silent huh?"

Hawkodile broke the silence by saying a weird sentence, and making things TEN TIMES WORSE, Dr.Fox just answered with a "mmhmm" and yeah it made the awkwardness TWENTY TIMES WORSE!!!

"OK YOU'RE RIGHT IT'S REALLY QUIET! you know what! Why don't you take a rest! I mean you said it yourself, you are tired so, sick or not sick, why don't you take a rest... after all, everyone deserves a break, ain't that right? Huh?"

Hawkodile left the lab leaving her question unanswered, making her mind filled with confusion.
