Different consequences cause of love (A Foxodile/Hawkofox fanfic)

Making stupid excuses

"Uh... Rick, think that's yours"

"Oh right! Apologies, excuse me"

Then he pulled a phone on his pocket that looks like from the 80's making Hawkodile laugh but tried not to get noticed by the old caretaker.

"Yes Hello... Do you need any of my assistance?... Oh!mmhhh... Alright then... I'll try... your welcome... alright...   That was Dr. Fox and she wants your assistance in the laboratory"

"Richard, I JUST SAID I CAN'T HANDLE SEEING HER RIGHT NOW..."

"Hawkodile... just spilt the differences between you two... Can't you make it happen?"

"Rick i CAN'T..."

"Just go apologize... Now is the perfect time, go to her and apologize!"

"Can't you just tell her I'm sleeping or... something?"

"No"

"PLEASE RICK!"

"No... and even if i did do that, you do know her VERY... very well, Right?"

"Uh... ye-yeah?"

"And you do know how STUBBORN she is but just sometimes when she doesn't get what she wants, am i right HAWKODILE?"

"Yes..."

"Good now why don't you go to her and do whatever she requested then just apologize see? That doesn't sound so bad"

"Rick it's not that, I just CAN'T, please just do this one tiny request for me!"

"I'm sorry Hawkodile, i really am, but i won't be able to do that one request, it's against my will..."

"C'mon Rick that doesn't sound so bad"

"Yes, it does, because it is called 'LYING'..."

"Th-that's not lying uh... it's just... um... saying something MUCH better than the Truth!"

"You mean... NOT telling the truth?" He asked sarcastically.

"EXACTLY! wait... that sounds much worse..."

"E ...X ...A ...C ... T ... L ... Y, spells EXACTLY"

"LOOK I JUST... CAN'T!"

"Do you mean 'DON'T' ?"

"Yes... mhhhm er... no... I JUST DON'T KNOW!"

Then Hawkodile sat on his knees on the floor looking downwards, making him feel sorry for forcing the confused bodyguard.

"It seems you have ANOTHER emotional thing goin'on, Would you like to talk about it, you might feel much better..."

"It's alright Rick, but can't you just tell her that?"

Richard sighed and looked at him with a blanked expression.

"Alright then... just... this once but if she does come... please don't hesitate on talking to her... in other words DON'T just push her away if she wants to talk to you"

"Thanks Rick... that means a lot to me"

"Well i guess I'd better go, I'll see you later"

"Bye"

Once Richard closed the door, Hawkodile looked as if he was looking at his dad walk away to do something that would cause trouble.

"FINALLY!"
He said while letting his self fall and land on the floor.

"Oh right! The pic! Ok I CAN DO THIS! TONIGHT IS... THE NIGHT!
MAN UP RAYMOND C'MON!!!"
After encouraging his self, he then ran to grab the box from the usual hiding place.

After that he then tried to find the PERFECT photo of the female scientist

While thinking of the right words and finding the perfect photo, A HORRIBLE THOUGHT STRUCK ON HIS MIND.

"Wait... what am i doing?! WHAT AM I THINKING?! HOW DID I THOUGHT OF THIS SO FAST!? HOW DID I THINK THIS ALL THE WAY THROUGH!? I'M NOT TRYING TO RUSH ANYTHING!?! WHAT WAS I THINKING!? CONFESSING TO HER TONIGHT!?! OH GOD! OH GOD! OH GOD! , WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!? AM I SICK OR SOMETHING!?"

Love sick for sure... After beating his self up with negative thoughts, he took a deep breath, a step back to the wall and slowly sat on the floor, then he looked at the picture he chose.

"What is wrong with me... ever since i met you on that spot i can't stop myself from thinking about you... do i really want to tell you... or should i just keep this feelings hidden... i am happy to be your friend but everytime i hear that word from you my heart gets stabbed again and again, I just can't accept the fact that we can never be more than friends, but i know deep inside of myself that you are the girl I've met in action forest"

Hawkodile stood up then sat on his chair like he was sitting on a horse while thoughts ran inside his head.

"Should i or should i not? What should i do?
Should i tell her even if she rejects me? Or just keep it FOREVER? But the more i kept it the more i felt WORSE as if I've wanted to be with her all my life, but then this is my question that i know will never be answered, why did that STUPID HEART appeared NOW? Why didn't it appeared when i was still a kid? Or after i talked to her? Maybe because this feeling got worse and worse"

But then he thought of an idea, an idea that could change everything he felt about her.

"What if... i forget this feelings i have for her... i mean just let it go than letting it grow... i was doing fine before i met her, i was doing great before that little incident happened,  THAT'S IT! MAYBE THAT'S THE SOLUTION I NEED! I COULD FEEL THE SAME WAY SHE FELT ABOUT ROMANCE! IT COULD ONLY GET IN THE WAY OF HER PASSION! AND MY ONE AND ONLY PASSION! IS ACTION! But how can i forget these feelings if i always see her and hang out with her?"

While thinking of the WORST Idea that he thinks is the BEST he stood up, then put his right gloved hand at his chin then started walking in circles, CLEARLY getting him nowhere.

"I know! I could just ignore her! Wait a sec-wouldn't that be rude, and aside from that... she's still my best friend!!! I could REALLY hurt her feelings... but then again, i don't really have any choice to pick other than telling it to her or keeping it for the rest of my life..."

Sighing in defeat because of being too afraid to tell her and also fearing for the heart to come back, Hawkodile looked down while saying these words:
"Well... Operation- ignore the... love of my life... Go..."

After letting out his decision, Mostly half of the whole day ended fast but of course he tried EVERYTHING to stop his self from seeing her just to make his promise happen.
