Hi, it's me, Oki, sorry about having no pictures, I'm writing this in secret, it is 12:59 am, so don't blame me.

Marik: Um, Oki? When will we start? I kind of want to see where this goes.

Malik: Yeah, I want to see it too. Besides, I will destroy you if you don't get this chapter started already. *Mumbles swear under breath*

Oki: Okay. I don't own Yu-gi-oh!, or its characters, but I do own this story. Enjoy!

(y/n)'s POV (aka you this is first person.)

I yawn as I get out of bed, and I stare at my hands again.

First day of school... I thought as I went to the bathroom to get ready. I sure hope I don't get bullied... I hope that... people won't hurt me anymore.

I looked at my silver hair and fox ears as I looked in the mirror. My canine teeth were still a little more pointed than the average person's.

I sigh as I brush my teeth, and wash my face.

It's been, what, two years since I rejoined society? I-I have noidea how to deal with people. Not since that madman kidnapped me, and performed all those painful experiments... I was trapped there for three years, since I was nine.

You are 14 in this...

I combed my hair, and slipped on my clothes- a comfy white hoodie with blue stripes on the sleeves. I had a pair of jeans on, and stuck my phone in the pocket. I slid on my glasses, and stared at myself. I guess I didn't look too shabby.

I got my oversized bag, my lunch, and all my supplies. I also brought my Duel Monsters cards, in case anyone was into them, and wanted to trade.

I shoved my drawing portfolio, and my pre-made notes into my bag. I guess I didn't have much to do, so I made pre-made notes for every subject so I could get out of taking notes, so I could draw or read... or write in my journal in class...

Yep, I was a weird one.

I put on my white sneakers, and dashed off to school.

Still, as I was about to walk into the classroom, I was absolutely petrified.

Marik's POV

I sat quietly in my desk, staring blankly at the board. I wondered what would happen on a Monday, the Armpit of the Week. Shoot.

My thoughts were interrupted by the teacher saying something.

"Hello, class. Today, we have a new student joining us. She is very shy, and has recieved extremely traumatic experiences when she was nine, so I suggest you don't pick on her, unless you want to be suspended. Well? Come on in!" Our teacher said.

Suddenly, the door opened, and the shyest girl I have ever seen peeked into the classroom. Her hair was a pure silver, much like Bakura's. She also had fox ears, and a tail. She wore glasses, and I could see her fear as she walked slowly into the room.

Her eyes were a beautiful blue, although I could see flecks of aquamarine and gold dancing in the bright color of her eyes.

She cautiously treaded to the front of the class, and as I watched from my seat, she quietly, but graciously introduced herself.

"Um... H-hi, I-I'm (y/n), (y/n) (l/n)... I... I hope you won't pick on me because I'm different... I understand if you have questions about what I am, exactly, so, I-I don't mind those..." She mumbled.

"Please pardon my stuttering... I was kidnapped by a madman, and I was stuck in that lab for three years. I was kidnapped when I was nine, and I rejoined society two years ago." She let out a weak chuckle. "Still, I hope you guys won't look at me like I'm not a human being, or anything, so if you think I'm strange or anything, I don't blame you..."

Everyone in the class clapped their hands, and I flashed her her a wide grin.

She's kind of cute when she's all quiet and shy like that... I thought to myself, until I realized what I had been thinking. Ugh, Marik! What are you doing?!

"Um, Mr. Brooks, where do I sit...?" She murmured.

Instantly, all the guys in the class started yelling. I looked over at Yugi and Bakura, but the had the same bewildered looks as me.

"You can choose, (y/n). That should make you a little more comfortable."

She simply nodded, and walked over to my spot.

"Um... you don't mind if I sit here, do you..? Because if you don't, I can find somewhere else..." She said quietly, in her soft, silky smooth voice.

For a second, my heart skipped a beat. When I came to my senses, I managed to mutter, "Sure. I don't mind at all. I hope we can be friends."

Her shy eyes brightened a little, and she seemed to warm up to me.

"Okay! Oh, right, um... what's your name?" She asked.

"I'm Marik Ishtar. I'm from Egypt." I replied.

"Cool!"

(y/n)'s POV

I smiled as I set my bag down on the floor.

Maybe this wasn't going to be so bad. Marik seemed like a nice person.

The teacher began the lesson, but I immediately raised my hand.

"Yes, (y/n)?" He asked.

"Um... I actually spent most of my time making pre-made notes for most of the subjects in school, so if I show them all to you, can I just draw instead?"

My teacher nodded, and I took out my ELA notes. I quietly walked to the teacher's desk, and put them there. The stack of paper was pretty thick.

Mr. Brooks examined it, and finally said,"Very thorough... Okay, miss (l/n), you can draw in class." He replied.

I did a little victory dance in my head, as I returned to my seat in a great mood.

Marik stared at me in wonder.

"Did you really make all those?" He asks.

"Yup!" I say happily as I pull out my pencils and paper, starting to draw.

He stares a little, but then returns his attention to the board.

Maybe high school isn't so bad... I thought.
