When I see you again

High school "vernon hills"

My alarm went off buzzing loudly walking my whole house, I turned it off and groaned loudly, " AHHHH why do I have to go to school??" It was my first day of school, but it's my second year in Vernon hills. I hopped into the shower and then got ready, I went downstairs to see my mom excited for my first day of year 8, " hi honey, had a good night sleep?", " yes mom I slept pretty good", she gave me the bowl of cereal and I ate it. I checked the clock and it was time to head of to school. I texted my bestie to see if she's ready so I can pick her up on the way.
"Give me three mins and I'll be outside my door" " kk"

" Mom I'm leaving now"
" okay sweetie stay safe"

I walked outside and went over to my besties house, I see a boy walking out of the next door of hers.
He looked a little familiar. But then I just brushed it off my head. My bestie came outside and walked with her to school, she goes:
"Do u know there is a new neighbour here?"
I reply, " is it the one next you?"
She reply's with a yes. We stop talking about it and just went into school, my first class was music and acting, and I notice the new neighbour boy in my school. I go over and sit on my chair to see everyone talking with the new kid, is he famous or something??
He sits right next to me and introduced himself,
"Hi I'm David dobrik, what's your name?"
I sit there for a moment trying to remember that name. It sounded so familiar, I replied, "Mai is my name. Nice to meet you David."
We shake hands and he says,
"Nice to meet you too"
I sit there still trying to remember his name, my brain stopped for a minute and I gasp,
"WOAH, ARE YOU OKAY," asked David.
I go " I'm sorry, I was daydreaming"
"About who??" 😂 he said while laughing, "who's the lucky one" he said with a girly voice.
I smile at him and said, "it wasn't anyone I just realised something"
"What is it?" I go " can I ask you something???"
He goes" sure go ahead😊"
"Are you David dobrik from vine?, sorry to ask I was just wondering."
He goes," yeah do you know who I'm?"
