When I see you again

Mai's birthday's planning

David's POV:
Tomorrow is Mai's birthday, it's finally the time where I'm gonna confess my feelings to her. I don't know if I'm excited or scared. But Kristen is here to help me, it's going to be just perfect.

I texted Kristen to plan out the party with her....

D: hey Kristen u free for a bit?
K: uh sure I guess do u want to come To my house?
D: ok sure I'm coming in 5 mins
K: okay I'm waiting for u

Mai's POV:
After I finished my homework I try to text David, but he doesn't reply.
I check from my windows to see if he is at home or not,
But then I find him sitting in Kristens living room with her! Why the hell is he at her house? And why isn't he replying back. We had a deal that we would text each other whenever we need each other, but I guess I wasn't such a good friend like Kristen.I got so pissed that I ran up to my room, locked the door and cried on my bed for a whole hour.

David's POV:

D: ok so, how are we going to do this?
K: I think I should skip school tomorrow and u guys go to school together
D: so, are you saying you are going to decorate and call in sick?
K: exactly, but she doesn't need to know
D: okay great, I trust you
K: you should always trust me.
D: ok I'm gonna hang out with Mai now, got to go, bye Kristen
K: ok bye David, go get her

I went to Mai's door and knocked on it...

Mais POV:

"Knock knock", suddenly someone started knocking on my door, I thought it was my mom.

M: Mom, I don't want to talk now please
D: Mai, it's me David. Wait why are you crying?
M: David what are you doing here

I get up to open my door and see David, standing at my door, waiting for me to open

D: Mai, why are you crying?
M: it's nothing, I'm fine.

He comes to me and gives me a big hug, so I snuggled into his shoulders as we're still standing in front and of my door

D: so are going to stand here all day?
M: I'm sorry, come in

We go to sit on my bed and we lock eyes for a good 30 seconds.

D: can u please tell me why you were crying?
M: it's nothing, trust me. I just wanted to get rid of some tears
D: ok, will I hope you are okay now
M: yes I'm.
D: hey did you text me?
M: yes, but you didn't reply so I thought you were busy
D: oh no, I was just at Kristens
M: uhh. Why?
D: we were... doing our homework.
M: umm okay
D: hey, do you wanna tell me something?
M: no, do u?
D: nope, I'm fine
M: ok, do you wanna watch a movie
D: sure what movie?
M: umm.. the notebook?
D: sure let's go

We sit on my bed and started watching the movie.

David's POV:

It's 10 pm now and mai has fallen asleep on my shoulders, so I didn't want to move, I got my phone and texted my mom to tell her that I'm staying over at Mai's house. I hugged her tightly, and she hugged me back. I knew she felt safe. We slept all night cuddling, it felt great. She was just perfect in my eyes. I hope tomorrow goes well
