Today is my birthday and also me and David's "anniversary". Obviously we are not together anymore, but none of his friends know. Only Kristen and Scotty. David told me to come over to his house at 5. It was already 4:15 so I said to myself " I'll wait until it's 4:20 to be in brand. I'm so on brand" I said while flicking my hair to the back jokingly.
I picked out a black dress and did my hair in French braids:

As I was done getting ready I texted David to see if I should come now....
M: hey David I'm ready D: great, do you want me to pick you up? M: nah it's fine I'll cross the street D: ok sure !
David's POV:
I set up the camera to shoot mais surprise, but who knew, maybe we are going to also tell them we broke up
"SURPRISE" the whole vlog squad screamed as Mai went into my house! It was crazy, confetti everywhere and they even surprised her with Charlie puth, her favourite singer.
"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday Mai! Woooo!!"
"Aww, thank you guys" she replied to them with a happy face, almost awkward.
"Ok baba, now open the presents!" Heath and Zane screamed so loudly to Mai in excitement.
"Ok, I guess, also you guys got to calm down," "No baby it's your birthday, we are so excited" Zane said to her
As Mai was reading the card I saw a tear slip down her check, no one realises it. She was crying because of how they still thought we were together.
I didn't mention it and just wiped it off her cheeks. "Aw you guys are so nice, so I open it now?" "Yess honey open it now!" Redgie and Natalie told me.
I opened it and found to bracelets, one with an "m" and one with a "d". It was for me and David. I felt so weird to wear it and give it to David. It felt wrong.
"Yay, Mai is wearing the bracelet!"
All of the vlog squad screamed.
"Ok now kiss for the photo" Zane told me and David.
David looked at me with a confused look, I gave him the okay to do it. I felt so in pain, tearing my soul apart, because he isn't mine anymore, and I'm not his"
After the photo shoot David pulled me to his room and told me to talk to him.
D: hey, sorry about what happens down there M: it's fine I'm okay with it D: do you just wanna tell them on camera M: today? D: yeah, it better if we do, they are all here M: okay let's do it.
When we went down David was setting up the camera to tell them. I told them to sit in a circle to bring them all to the camera screen.
D: what's up guys welcome back to my channel, today I'm here with the vlog squad say hi vlog squad! VS: hi vlog squad!! M: today the vlog squad surprised me for my birthday, it will be in David's main channel. Today me and David have a surprise for you"points at the vlog squad" VS: ooooh D: don't get too excited Z: omg is it cobras? D: no one did anything to each other we just had to get a hold of the relationship and we both know how much we mean for each other but we just needed a break
M: yeah basically we are still best friends, and who knows what happens next
