When I see you again

Davids POV:
Today, Mai invited me over to her house for a talk, I was worried about her so I just went.
When I arrived at her house, she didn't open the door, it was Kristen....
K: oh, David you're here
D: is everything okay with Mai?
K: umm.. I don't think so. Give me a minute to tell her you're here
D; oh, sure go ahead

I got very worried now, at first I thought it was something like very small, but I think it's serious. Me and Mai have been distant the last few weeks, we haven't been texting as much, she wouldn't come over as much, so I think I know what she wants to tell me.

K; hey David, you can go now
D: okay thank u

As I'm going upstairs, my legs start to get very shaky, and my hands sweats so much, I was very nervous .

D: can I come in?
M: yes David come in

When I walked in, she looked like she was crying for the past two days.

D: Mai, are you okay?
M: not surely. Can we talk about something?
D: uh yeah sure
M: I know that I love you so much, and you've been my best friend for 2 years, you have been just great, but I think we should... uh.. I think we should..
D: should what?
M: I think we should take a break.
D: oh, umm. Just give me a minute

I run to her bathroom and I lock the door and my eyes start bursting in tears, I've never cried this much since I've broken up with Liza, I knew I loved Mai so much. I don't know if she was right. Should we take a break? I don't know what I've done wrong!
But maybe we should, we have been so busy with our lives, I was working on my channel, and she was studying for her magistrate. We already lived seperate lives for like 2 weeks, i felt so broken, but I knew I had to end it.

M: hey David, u okay?
D: uhh. Yeah just give me a second
M: okay take your time

I try to hide my tears but I couldn't help it, my eyes kept watery. It looked like I was crying for 7 weeks. I looked horrible.

I decided to get outside of her bathroom and walk up to her, and I sit next to her on her bed.

D: so, are we breaking up?
M: what do u think?
D: what ever you think, I'm fine with it.
M: how about no?

She looked at me and smiled, I had no words. I wanted to be with her. I just don't know if it's healthy for us

D: can we think about it?
M: yes, take your time

She comes and hugs me and leaves her room for me to think about it. I just went for my heart, and called her back....
D: hey, have you thought about it?
M: well, yeah. Have you?
D: Mmhm, I don't know if I'm sure.
M: I think we should
D: break up?
M: umm.. yeah
D: okay, I'm fine with it.
M: thanks for understanding
D: you're welcome. Hey, I'm gonna go now and I'll see you tomorrow, okay?
M: sure, I'll text you
D: okay, bye Mai
M: bye David

I missies her calling me Davey, no one else called me that, and now, no one will!
