me and mai just checked out of our hotel to get to the house, I still had the thinking of the whole assistant thing. I don't know if I made the right choice. I mean Mai is great, she is always so punctual and she was very smart in school. She knows what she is doing. I was thinking about getting a new car, but I don't know how to tell Mai. We took a cab since I don't have a car yet, and went to our house.
D: Mai, the cab is here!
M: okay David please put the bags in, so you want me to do them?
D: no it's fine just don't take long time
M: David I'm putting my shoes on, won't take long.
D: okay I'm going to be in the cab.
M: sure, I'll catch you up
~time skip in the cab~
D: hey I want to talk to you about something.
M: what did you do now?
D: shouldibuyanewcar?
M; what? You are talking to fast
D: I said, shouldigetanewcar?
M: a new what? I can't hear you. Talk slowly!
D: "exhales" okay. Should I buy a new car?
M: I mean eventually you will need one, but now?
D: I mean I have my license but I sold my old car in Chicago.
M: what are you searching for?
D: probably a bmw or a Tesla
M: a Tesla? Are you crazy? No David
D: why not? It's such a hot car!
M: please, just don't use the term "hot car" 🤣
D: okay but why not?
M: because David it's like a couple ten thousand dollars! You just bought a house with 2.6 million dollars! Calm down with your money, you're going to lose it quick.
