What is she doing here?

Davids POV:

Me and Mai are about to land in LA. I've been sleeping the whole time. I feel bad for her, she couldn't sleep at all. I got on my laptop really quickly before we landed and told Mai the address of the new house. We're probably going to drop our bags at the house first and then go to a hotel. Also I'm going to surprise Mai with her old friends Maria, Zach and jack and gabble. they used to be friends with Mai and Kristen.
I told them to wait at the hotel to surprise Mai. She has been going through a lot. Especially with me, I didn't know I was treating her like trash until that incident with Natalie. I hate her now. Why was she mean to everyone and not to me? Did she really like me that much? I mean I liked her as a friend, maybe a best friend but nothing more than that.

~time skip at the airport ~

I called Maria and Zach to meet us at the hotel room, and surprisingly, Zane and Heath were with them, they're very close friends with Mai and me.

Maria: hey David, how are you doing?
D: hey Maria, I'm good. Where are you guys we are at the baggage claim?
Maria: we are waiting for you guys at the hotel lobby.
D: okay cool, we're coming in about 20 mins
Maria: that's fine take your time. I can't wait to meet Mai again!
D: I'm sure she will be so happy to see you guys too!
Maria: okay waiting for yous
D: peace.

I looked over at mai waiting for the bags, she looked so tired and exhausted. I wouldn't blame her if I didn't sleep the whole flight! I go over to her but I don't think she noticed me.
D: Mai, are you okay?
M: oh my David, you scared me!
D: I'm sorry. Are you okay?
M: uh, yeah yeah i-m fin-ne
D: Mai tell me what's wrong, you are definitely not fine
M: it-s nothing David. I'm fine. Did you get a cab?
D: yeah it's outside.
M: okay, can you please get a water bottle for me, here is my card.
D: yeah sure, keep your card. It's on me (;
M: okay thanks Davey
D: no problem

I went to get her the water bottle, and then I saw something I didn't expect to see.

Natalie was at the air port trying to call me. What is she doing here? I noticed my phone, I turned on silent mode and just got the bottle for Mai and went back to her.

D: here you go.
M: thanks David. Are you okay?
D: (rubbing my neck) uh yea-h I'm good
M: David, did something happen?
D: "nodding"
M: oh gosh what did you do?
D: it's nothing trust me I just saw,..
M: saw who?
D: you know what. Nothing happened
M: David just tell me please!
D: no
M: okay then, tell me when you want to.
D: "mouths" oh my god. Mai I'm going to go to the bathroom
M: David you literally just went 3 mins ago what's wrong.
D: nothing gotta go!

Mais POV:

David just ran to the bathroom, but he is not okay. I turned around to see what happened. And then I saw this...

I run with our bags to the male bathroom, and knock crazy.

M: David! Come out. I saw her.
D: oh shit!
M: come out David, tell me
D:"opens the door" okay I swear I didn't know she was following us!
M: what do you mean you didn't know?
D: "his phone rings" ohmygod, she is calling me! What do I do?
M: do whatever you want!
D: okay, I'm not going to answer her let's go to the cab
M: she is going to see us, turn off your location on your phone. She is going to follow us home!
D: okay you're right. Let's just walk and hope she will not see us!
M: she is going to see us if you don't hurry up.
