Emily's POV
"Ticket ma'am!" the man said.
I handed him my train ticket and sat next to Colin for a long ride to New York.
"Hey" I say to him.
He turns around and replies with a simple "Hello"
I twirl my fingers around in my hand creating a tiny flame and control it as if it was part of me.
The conductor walks by and I shut my hands together tightly, putting out the flame.
I stand up our close the door to our room thing which has bunk beds and a storage area with a big window.
I see the window is freezing and barely transparent any more due to ice.
I look at Colin and I can tell he is nervous.
